I think Anna Nicole is more that likely considered tall. But as high as 5'11? Nah. However, it is very hard to tell with all of the hair and she did kinda droop her shoulders down in this pic. I'm gonna say 5'7- 5'8" for now.

I agree with johnny, I'm 6'4 and have never had to stoop under doorways. And for all the ladies out there who are insecure, just find yourself a nice tall guy. I have nothing wrong with a tall woman and never have.

I'd like to address some comments submitted by Anna and 5'9.5" Betty. Betty, at 5'8", you are actually pretty darned tall. The average height for a woman in the USA, in 2004, is just a fraction under 5'4". Betty is 4" and you Anna, are 5.5" taller than AVERAGE. That's a lot! Now, 5'9.5" qualifies for model height, and yes, many models are 5'10" and taller. We aren't talking about "tall" for models, we are comparing heights to one another. When Betty asks, am I tall?
At 5'8", she's definitely tall!

Going from Franco's comments, I don't think being 5'9 - 5'10 is a good height for men, I'm personally 6'0 on the dot but still feel unsecure about my height. I have friends that are in the 5'8 - 5'11 bracket and all of them wish they were were taller and I have to say so do I.

Christa -- what to do? Either find a guy over 6' tall (not hard to do ... go to any college campus, young guys are HUGE these days) or realize that even short guys can be attractive, body and soul. I'm 5'10" ... and while I'm insecure about my height (know I shouldn't be, but can't help it), none of my girlfriends have ever been. My last one was around 5'8.5 -- she towered over me in heels. But it was all good. Girls put so much bigger a premium on height than guys do. Honestly, few of us could give a dump over how tall a girl is. Shakira's under 5' tall ... I wouldn't kick her out of bed. And I'd choose her over, say, Mandy Moore (5'8 or so) any day of the week.

@Betty: for a male, anything around 5.8 an upward is fine. your 5.9.5 is good,
i'm 6'4" (1.93cm) and 27 years old so im done growing (thank god), as i said in a previous post, being too tall like me can be a problem sometimes, having to bend to enter a room isn't funny! ....but hey, it's all an advantage out in the world.....but inside.....OH MAN. lol

Anna Nicole Smith is absolutely 1.70cm and not an inch more. forget the 5'8" thing up there, remove the upper hair and you got he real height.....5'7".

at least for me she is 5'7".

Hahaha... 5'8" isn't tall. All my life I thought 5'11" was the perfect height. I'm 5'9.5" (yes the .5 matters) and I love wearing heels because they make my legs look as if they go on forever. All the tall 6"+ model-type hotties go for me while the average guys check out my girlfriends. Not a bad deal.

Hey Christa, trust me, you're not alone. My littlesister is 6,1 and she's having the same problems as you, but she has choosen to walk tall, wear heels if that's what she feels like, and don't care when people stare in the street. You just have to accept who you are, cause there's nothing you can do about it. Cheer up!

She's clearly no where near the 5'11 mark there. Although I did get the chance to meet her once a year ago, it was at a resturant in west hollywood (she seemed to enjoy that people were surprised and whispering about her as her group came in.) From the table I was sitting at she looked pretty tall when I saw her come in, just as tall as her lawyer friend and I'd say he was about 6'/6'1. Her hair was straight and flat that time not very big. She was wearing boots though, probably with 3 to 4 inches or so on the heel. Anyway later before my friends I were leaving I stopped and said how I really liked her and thought she was great, she did a long "awww" and said "thank you" and then surprised me by getting up and giving me a hug! It was a little weird since I've never thought of well known people to be very touchy feely like that but she was a pretty nice lady.

But what struck me was that she was standing tall, I'm about 5'9 and my chin was barely over her chest! she really does seem like an imposing figure in person, even though she's dropped all that weight...its her presence or something, it left me thinking I was short! I only wish I had known she was going to be there so I could have brought a camera and get some pics to look it over after all this.

hahahaha "anonymous"... 5'7" is NOT tall... i'm about 5'10" and i get people stopping me on the street asking how tall i am... it ISN'T so great to be actually tall, mostly because you can't wear heels without someone asking why you feel the need to be even taller because "you are already a giant!" while being tall does have its perks, finding pants that fit is not one of them...

In response to the "someone" who said it isn't great to be tall as a woman. I am 5'71/2" and wear heals whenever I want to. I never feel too tall. When I do wear heals, it makes me realize how many other tall men and women are out there. I love my height and think short people look dumpy. My own mother is 5'2, and was the "tall" one in her family. She always complained about being so short. I am glad I grew. Walk thru any high school today and you will see freshman girls and boys at 5'7 or better. Everyone is getting taller. Almos every model guys drool over is no shorter than 5'9. Plus men love long legs, and you won't find them on short women!

I never believed that she was 5"11. I'm usually good at estimating heights. If she was 5"11 (which she is not) why would she wear such high heels? A 5"11 woman would look extremly tall is such high heels. She never looked 6"4 in her 5 inch heels. In her mug shot, her big hair makes her look 5"8. Without the big hair and shoes she must be no more than 5"6 to 5"7. This mug shot should be posted in the National Enguire or some other gossip magazine. Many of her fans will be shocked to know that she is not the super tall woman she claims to be.
