Wow, excellent listing Rob... surprised you have him listed. One of the greatest bollywood actors of all time, yes I believe he was a peak 5'10 guy. His sons Sunny Deol looks actually the same height as he is currently, so 5'8 seems right. Bobby Deol looks anywhere in the 5'10.5 mark. Good to see his sons and daughter have continued his legacy.

Dharmendra is strong 5'4 to 5'5. I met him and he is 2 inches shorter than me. I am about 5'7. He is also very shorter than my friends William who is 1.5 inches shorter than Salman Khan who I thought to be about 5'6 tops.

Don't forget that Khan often wears lifts/clumpy shoes to look taller. I wouldn't be surprised if Sunny was actually a legit 5 ft 9 but Khan managed to pull off looking taller. Salman is the Indian Stallone.

Rob there's an article, if slightly gushing one on Rekha Click Here She really is an iconic actress in Asia and worth adding. I don't think she looked 5 ft 7 peak though.

@Amaze what do you reckon about Rekha? I'd always thought about 5 ft 6, 5 ft 7 seems high for her, but I might be wrong.

And hes 7 years older than amitabh. Amitabh is 73 this year, dharmendra will be 80. So a 2 inch loss is understandable. Amitabh is 6'1 now while dharmendra is 5'8. 5 inch difference. In 7 years amitabh will be 6'0 so he will have a 2 inch loss just like dharmendra did

Just saw Officer,there's not even one scene in which Sunil Shetty looks 5 inches taller than Raveena(5'5.25-166cm).In most of the scenes he only looks about 3 or 4 inches taller.That makes him 5'9-9.25.

My mistake, he's actually 7 years older than Amitabh and will be 80 in December this year. If you really look at him in Chupke it's difficult to see under 5 ft 10 in my opinion. But today I think these people are right, he can look as low as 5'7.5. So it's quite possible he's lost 2.5 inches, a tad more than average loss at 80. I'd give him the full 5 ft 10 peak and 5'7.5 now.

Of course you can't rule out 5'9.5 peak and 5'7.5 now but I really did think he looked an easy 5 ft 10 in the 70s. He does look as low as 5'7.5 in that Amitabh more recent photo.

No there wasn't. Trust me I got a very good look at him with Amitabh and I think Rob and Amaze did too. 5'10 looked genuine back in the 70s. Rob might consider adding a current listing too though seems as he's still active I think.

@Max he was definitely about 5 ft 10 peak, see him in Chupke with Amitabh, looked too tall to only be 5 ft 8 or 9, he passed for tallish for his generation. Today he might be just 5 ft 8.
