Glenn defintley wakes up at atleast 5'7.5", but his lowest is probably 5'6.5". It wouldn't surprise me if he woke at 5'7.75" considering that second measurement. 5'8" out of bed does seem a bit high considering that he dropped below 5'6.75", but I'm no expert.

I haven't been following this site as religiously as some. I only have moderate knowledge of all the Glenn shenanigans. I do remember him flying off the handle at a few folks here. But I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. But I was always confused with his pics since I have come across some of the folks he took photos with and I knew they didn't quite appear as tall as they seemed next to an alleged 5.8" Glenn. The Stallone one was the most telling for me since I actually met Sly when I was vacationing in Miami. He was on the beach and barefoot so I got a very good gauge of his height. My gf at the time said he appeared shorter than me (I am just under 5'10"); but in Glenn's pic, he looked 5'10". So now it all adds up. That supposed 2 inch height advantage I saw in the Sly-Glenn photo was real but the lower height was 5'6.5" (and change); NOT 5'8".

been a while since ive been on and this is still raging away! lol, I think Glenn is 5'7.25" Morning , 5'7" flat most of the day and then 5'6.75 - 5'6.5" in the evening. We just dont know his average height loss, I start at 5'8" and end at 5'7" ( but this is with 9 hour shifts in a physical job 5 nights a week so I might lose less than that sometimes, I honestly dont know ) So I guess Glenn COULD lose a whole inch similar to myself and Rob, but with those measurements, it is hard to believe Glenn could ever hit 5'8" at any stage, the tallest Glenn could ever hit is 5'7.75" but that would need him to undergo a full inch height loss which is common but not definite by ANY means.

If we cannot agree on a guys height that's been measured 3 times and is standing barefoot next to the editor who's measured himself a 1000 times what chance of any of us agreeing on a Celebs height, but I guess that is what makes this site so entertaining.

If Rob was 3 inches taller than Glenn, Glenns eyeline would line up against Rob's mouth. They don't, they line up somewhere against Rob's nose. Glenn is 1.5
-1.75 inches shorter. Eyes to bottom of nose = 2 inches. Height is personal to people - some are very height conscious and other don't give a stuff. A girl I work with told me once she was 5'7 - More likely closer to 5'7 and 7/8 but she said 5'7 - anyone height conscious would say 5'8. Both are technically correct...she lookes a solid 5'8 to me.

Because it's a false height. People aren't as tall as when they stretch themselves up as Glenn is doing. I went to an orthopedic doctor because of a disc problem and he explained it to me. If someone stands erect, but doesn't force themselves upward to reach an imagined height, then that's their correct height. To stretch is false. Perhaps this is why I tend to see everyone as being shorter since in the early morning if I measured myself and did everything in my power to make myself taller, I'd be closer to six feet. But it's not correct.

Do me a favor. Take out a ruler or tape measure and look at how long two inches is. Then three. I have one in my hand. Two inches is the width of two fingers. Glenn is obviously stretching himself upward while Rob is relaxed. If I stand and stretch myself up as far as I can go, I measure almost 5'11.5". But that's not an accurate measurement as my doctor told me. I see at minimum, two and a half inches. That means depending on what shoes each man wore, Glenn is 5'6.5".

Plus devoting a page to Glenn is pretty silly.

Fact is that in the afternoon to evening period, Glenn is in the 5' 6.5" - 5 6.75" range. So putting a caption of 5' 8" next to celeb pics is very misleading.

Put it this way, if Rob puts a caption at 5' 8", and is 1.6" taller than Glenn, then you do the math. To be consistent with that, Glenn is 5' 6.5".

Rob hits 5' 8" at height and he's 1.6" taller than Glenn. This backs my 5' 6.5" for Glenn in the evening. And is consistent with 5' 6.69" at 5:30 pm.

I think he would be more likely to be 5'7.25" possibly 5.7.5" although I seriously doubt it. Again this is mere speculation on my part, I would be interested to know how Glenn measured himself out of bed because if you do not have a stadiometer it can be quited difficult to measure yourself accurately.

Isn't it about time we removed this page given that Glenn is banned and is not a celebrity. Glenn is estimated to be about 5'7.5" out of bed minimum. You weigh yourself in the morning not later after eating food all day. Same goes for height measure yourself in morning that is your height.

Remember the human race is 6 billion strong. we are all different and different amount of shrinkage can and does occur within the species. nobody is the same because you only shrink this much doesn't mean everyone else does. because you can only lift this amount of weight when you benchpress doesn't mean the next person cannot. bench pressing big weights has nothing to do with your amount you weigh. muscle size is got by reps and lifting a heavy weight for 1 lift is a different type of training. Power lifting some small low weight guys can lift an enormous amounts if they train for power. Franco columbo was a small man, he could bench enormous amounts and dead lift colossal amounts as he was a power lifter before getting into body building.

He was only 5ft 5 and benchpressed 525lb so 300lbs isnt that much if you ask me

I recall an ABC news story a few years ago on "gaining height by sleeping." It was exactly what we're talking about - height loss over the course of the day. A lady they measured was ~1.25 inches taller after waking up, than her night height. Sounds extreme, but I don't recall exactly what the measurement was. They did mention though: this likely only applies to people under 50 years old. Their (kinda ridiculous) conclusion was: get some sleep and get taller. I wonder if the 50 year old cutoff applies because as some get older, the spine cartilage is already compressed and has less ability to stretch out overnight? I wish I recorded the story.

I don't think there can be so much shrinkage in human height within the day, at least if the person is not a very tall one. The tallest I've measured myself (out of bed) is 169cm, and the shortest 167.8cm. That is barely 0.5 inch difference, which I find reasonable. As mcfan, I would get very suspicious if someone comes and says he shrinks much more than half inch, mostly if the guy is of short or average height. Righ now I'm 1.68m, which is the height I give when asked about it.

You, Frank2, are a good example for what I've said for ages - height loss is a very individual affair. That's why it's important not to engage in what Brad or, on the other end, ACG do - delibaretly adding or substracting from Glenn's known height. Known is Glenn was 170.2 cm and also 169.45 cm. As some do lose 2 cm within a day's range, and if the 169.45 cm were actually Glenn's lowest possible, 171.5 cm would be possible.

But all of this is complete guesswork. We do know for sure that Glenn still insists on being close to 5'8'' when waking up, but never supplied any evidence of this.

I tend to agree with Frank2 on the night/day height ranges. I simply don't get much discrepancy either. The only time I get discrepancies is going to the doctor, but it is the setting of the scales with the measuring device. Of course, this only happened once. When I lived in Mass about 25 years ago, I remember being measured at 69 inches when I was already full-grown. I got a job in CA, took a company physical a few months later, and miraculously was back to 70 inches. Both were morning physicals and w/o shoes. I got my answer years later when I and my wife visited a Best store. They had a scale with the height thing and it was again, off by one inch. Luckily, as usual I had my measuring tape and it was off by one-inch as suspected. They must adjust the bars somehow. It's not that I'm saying people are lying about their morning/evening height claims, but if you tell me much over a half-inch then I get suspicious.

Well your pretty unusual Frank2 - read Robs Q & A below. He can lose 3/4 inch. The majority of people lose a 1-1.5cms.

A: Quite literally the lowest I've ever measured is bang on the 5ft 8 mark (out of bed I am 5ft 8.75). In any photo I have with a celebrity I am pretty much right around 5ft 8-8.25. I usually wear sneakers that give in the range 0.9-1.2 inches, if a celebrity has more or less shoe height I will try make mention of it in the description above the photo. In Hollywood-speak of course, I'm 'just under 6ft', in wrestling speak I'm 5ft 11 and 255lbs and in mathematical-speak I'm 6ft -4in.

i as well wish glenn good luck and dont wish him to fail. i dont like the way he acted. but he had said before that he had a mental disorder and possibly a breakdown a couple years ago if i remember correctly. i dont wish him to fail. i wish him the best and hopes that he does get his money right. but even all the money in NY wouldnt make him 5'8

Glenn may have been an as* and I'm still mad as hell with him but I always felt sorry for him because he is poor.

Maybe that was a contributing factor to him being so confused (in his mind)??

People always said how it must be so exciting earning your living as an autograph dealer and blah blah? But the truth is Glenn lived like a dog.

His professionel "career" was very stressful and unrewarding. His position on this site was probably one of the few highlights of his entire "career". But even that turned out to be unfruitful in the end.

Maybe if Glenn gets his own site up an running he could start making a little money and become more relaxed??

I seriously doubt however that he knows the people or have the knowledge of getting this ship in the sea. And it will probably be difficult for him as well to build anything on his reputation. Sadly he managed to trash that pretty good (and for the world to see) while he was on here!

So it will definitely be uphill for Glenn for a long time to come.

But that is not to say it couldn't happen. Maybe with a little bit of luck?

Despite Glenns mistakes I wish him the very best in the future.

He was a hard working man. No one can take that from him.

Sad it is how this often goes unnoticed and unrewarded by the world...

Hey Rog', I'm addressing people who still think he is over those "morning" heights that were measured. He's 5' 6.5" in everything photographed. What's there to defend? He's not on this site. Can you guess why? Senior citizen? I go see Van Halen and they are older than me. Hey Eddie, yer a senior citizen. Now tell Frank2 he's full of crap after 123 times he told him he's 5' 8" and "my height measurements are accurate". Naw, he'll not be dirt poor, he can use those photographs to a selling site like guys in L.A. do. He needs to find somebody to set it up. Get a rep.

Brad, many people believed Glenn to be 5'8'', yes. Most today don't anymore, and a few do know but do not want to accept it. I still find it creepingly funny - or maybe embarrassing? - to realize you are a senior citizen, calling yourself a millionaire, and spend EVERY day with telling anecdotes etc. about Glenn and how you had him at 5'6.5'' and how he lied etc. Not only here, but on other celeb's subsections also.

It does raise this question: do you have any life outside harassing a dirtpoor short guy who is gone by now and forever here, thus cannot defend himself the least bit and probably will remain poor for his life's rest? Are you seriously suggesting that this is because you got banned from a forum that discusses the height of various celebrities???

rob 2 questions- was glenn trembling in anxiety the first time you met him. Since he was going to be measured. When glenn was measrued at 5'6.5-5'6.75 did glenn freeze in shock?

Glenn probably would have gone ballistic to see himself listed as 5'7" on here yet there would be no reason for him to do so because in reality he is either 5'7" or under in all his photographs with celebrities and that was the height everyone on here was interested in to make comparisons, not his out of bed height. Unlike Q I do not have the scientific knowledge of height to say it is impossible to shrink from 5'8" out of bed to below 5'6.75" in the course of a day, however, I would say it is highly unlikely.

James - Glenn was definately slightly over 5'7" first thing, in my opinion he was probably 5'7.25" on rising, he may have been more but I cannot honestly believe that anyone over that height would drop to the minimum height Glenn was when Rob measured him.

"Far"? Brother, he was gonna be his regular 5' 6.5" only a few hours after Rob snapped those shots runnin' around from hotel to hotel, club to club. Put on the Ports or Maiden low cutters and the train wreck height is by celebs. It is possible to loose 2 inch in height over the day!! that is of course if u have major issue with your back muscles, i broke one of my back muscle years ago in an accident and after working 8h standing up im only 5'5 (but im actually a little over 5'7 when i wake) i know its weird but its not impossible trust me

Yeah Metric, some don't grow after 16, I didn't really grow after 14, but we don't know if Woody did or not. I know my friend did though, he was very short back then and still to this day his license says 5'5" even though he's in the 5'9", 5'10" range. So some people do grow late.
