To angry, people who are 5'0 have the right to call them selves short because they are. Average for generation z is doing to be 5'6 (girls) so for that generation someone who is 5'4 could be considered short. Be glad that your not 4'8 like me!!! BITCH

Most filipinos are of mixd racial ancestry so theres a lot of variation in body proportion making it hard to predict a girl's maximum height. In Lalaine's case... She has small bones, small waist and a long slim body so I believe that she's way taller than 5'2... she's most probably around 5'5 without heels. Liz says on 20/Aug/07
Wow, 2 cm shorter than me, if 157 is correct. Maybe Lalaine is like me just a little under 5'3, so even if technically she's 5'2 she considers herself 5'3, i sure do, I mean 159 is not that far from being 5'3, but really Lalaine does look taller than 5'2, i would've thought she was almost 5'4, but i've never met her, so i can't really judge, maybe it's just cause she's lanky that it's looks likes taller, or maybe she was taller, but stunted her growth from smoking, like Ryan Gosling. From a Lizzie McGuire episode, where LaLaine and Hilary are in gym (and both in flat sneakers). Granted, Hilary is slouching a bit, but LaLaine's easily an inch or two taller.

Lalaine's a full-blooded Filipina, and normally, a Filipina's height is [max] 5'4/3. I saw a pic of her in a local newspaper standing next to our president who is only 4'11. she's like 2 inches taller, unless they're both wearing heels. There's this local actor named Richard who is 5'11, and I saw him and Lalaine standing next to each other, and she barely makes it up his shoulders. saw a feaure on hilary duff on E! last month. they had what i think were some recent shots of lalaine w/ her. hilary duff is a short girl--lalaine looked to be 3-4 inches taller, but i do not recall what kind of shoes they were wearing ds says on 11/Feb/06
I agree it's normal for girls to be growing after 15. I'm 15 annd still growing. But I don't think that's so much if you're that short. I mean almost 5'8", and taller girls I can understand growing more, but not so much shorter girls...and plus the reason why I'm growing is b/c I'm undeveloped and almost boy flat, yet all the women in my family have humungo breasts and were mostly late bloomers...but Lalaine doesn't look like a late bloomer. She's pretty well developed...and was at a pretty early age so I doubt it. I was last of my friends to develop (and still haven't) so that's why I'm growing...but it's really rare. why are we determined to underestimate those who are short..so what if Hilary was even 5"0 only? well they are people who are shorter than that, guys.

In fairness, on Lizzie Hilary Duff was almost always wearing tall, clunky shoes, whereas Lalaine was usually wearing flat sneakers. So it's tough to judge who was really taller. On her website forum, though, she states that she's about 5'3" Anonymous says on 3/Jul/05

People can grow, of course...as a girl, your claim makes you a lucky exception to have gained 5 inches aged 16. The huge majority of girls will not have 2-5 inches growth after aged 15. Height Chart for girls. Growth begins to taper off after 15. Gains are minimal in general, but yes there are a lucky minority who might gain a good few inches. |
