hes not 5'11 people, if he were he would completely tower ove 5'1 rachel bison even if hes wearing heels, he would completely tower benjamin mckenzie which at the most is 5'7 .. thats why there is very little difference in height between ryan and seth, ryan is always wearing big boots that give him probably 1 to 2 inches in height

for drenter: the second pic u post is not "real". It's a collage of more photos put together in a second time. Adam is not that tall next to callagher and then look at his head; bigger than the others so i think his photo is zoomed. In O.C. he never looks 2-3' taller than callagher maybe 1,5 inch. This is Adam on Jimmy Kimmel. Take a look at the moment they shake hands, Kimmel slouches a bit and Adam is as tall as Kimmel's nose if he was standing properly, what gives Jimmy a 4 cm advantage, putting Adam on the 178~179 range.

He was just on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and at the end of the show when he rounds up his guest Brody was a full inch shorter than Jay, which was kind of surprising because during the earlier meeting at the beginning of the his interview they look the same. Just goes to show the how that angle (when the guest come to meet Jay at the beginning of their interview) is probably not the best angle to judge accurately a height.
