I always wondered Sadlers real height. WSM 2009 he claimed 5'9", however i have seen him listed at 5'8". I really dont think he is as tlow as 5'7" though

Agreed, brian sadler is amazing, at his height and weight, he's right up there. But brian sadler is usually listed 5'8 on most sites and looks a bit shorter in person.

Savickas, BIG Z i think is closer to 6'2 then 6'3, he doesn't have near 4 inches on mariusz. Terry seems more 6'4 then 6'5 and 6'8 was most likely brian shaws basketball height. He is around 6'6.5.

Rob, you should add more World Strongest Man heights on here. Their height are very debatable. Pounstone looks about 6' Kevin nee claims 6'2", but it is funny that he started off at like 6', and he has suddently gained a couple inches over the past couple years. he grew up in the town next to me,and my brother saw him at the bar. estimated him to be about 5'11". no where near 6'2"

SAK,the commentater was former strongman,Colin Bryce,who is in the 6'1.5-2'' range,and he is right I have seen both Poundstone and Pudzanowski in Scotland,there at best a weak 6'.

I was watching WSM event on TV. Derek Poundstone who gets listed as 6ft1, was taking part in that event, and the commentator said Poundstone claims 6ft1, but in actual fact is 5ft11.5

Jouko Ahola, won WSM twice, not the biggest, and probably not the strongest, but its about being strong, along with speed and agility. You have to be quick as well, the real real big guys usually dont win. Pudzanowski would smoke Kazmiaer in his prime..there should be pudzanowskis height debate on here. he claims 6'1", but i doubt it. he is probably 5'11"

I was actually surprised he won the 1980 one because there were shorter but more muscular guys in that event.

Kid, more muscular doesn't win strongman competitions. It's not a bodybuilding contest. IT's a STRONG MAN competition. Bill weighed 320 pounds in 1980 and he was THE STRONGEST MAN there that day. Don Reindhount injured himself and was past his prime. Lars Hedlund was strong, but not the strongest...

I don´t know about Kazmaiers´height but I do know that in his prime he was the strongest man in the world, and one of the strongest that ever lived.
Kaz´ strength was unbelievable!!!

He had PURE strength. INSANELY strong.. Probably one of the strongest of all time.

I saw an interview where Kaz interviewed Misha Koklyaev and Vasyl Virastyuk (from the Arnold Classics). Misha is listened as 6'2 and Vasyl as 6'2.5 and Kaz was around their height. At his prime Bill could've been almost 6'3 but nowadays he is a legit 6'2 (which is still really tall).

Unfortunately Bill can also look around the same height as 6'1" Derek Poundstone at times as well..

this is the only source which lists him on 6´2 based on a picture... as if you can seriously say from a picture how tall someone is. please give me a serious source with 6´2 otherwise please change it to 6´3. furhermore a size of a contender should always be listed in his prime. my suggestion: Click Here till someone doesn´t have a better source.

Actually, if you watch the 1980 WSM competition, the announcer states Bill's height at 6'2.5", which I believe was his true height, which he rounded up to 6'3". The same announcer gave Geoff Capes 6'5.5", when he was being listed at 6'6" at the time. Geoff today (at 61 years old) claims to be only 6'4", saying he has lost height.

i stood next to bill kazmaier yesterday at the arnold classic expo. he was talking about his weight gainer product, and man is he big. i am 6 foot 1.5 with shoes and he towered over me. id say at hes 6 foot 4 and wider than a doorway for sure.

First of all, even at his peak height, he was only 6'2.5"-6'3".. Today in his late 50's, he's probably no more than a flat 6'2" if not even a shade under that... As for weight, he claims to be down to 310 pounds.. His peak weight was 335-340 pounds...
