Not really James. He looked every bit of 6ft2 in Head above Water next to Cameron Diaz. Absolutley dwarfed Ben Stiller in Zoolander and did tower over Owen Wilson aswell. Looked massive in Back to the Future like 6ft3/6ft4! He also looks way taller than his 5ft8 girlfriend whose in heels. Really he looks about 6ft2 in person. But maybe that is little too high so 186-187cm seems more appropriate. The only downside is that he looked barely an inch taller than Sam Neill(5ft11.75) and barely 2 inches taller than Nicole Kidman (5ft10.5). In Titanic Next to Leonardo DiCaprio (182-183cm) he looks 1-1.5 inches taller. So in titanic he looked to be 185-186cm. The absolute lowest I could buy for this guy is 184cm. In my opinion the human body in general only shrinks half an inch during the day. That's from my experience of measuring myself at 6ft3.25 in the morning after a good night's sleep and measuring myself at 6ft2.75 before bed. So Zane could wake up after a good night's sleep at 6ft1.5 and Go to bed at 6ft1 flat. So I'd say Zane is 186cm.
Morning height - 6ft1.5 / 187cm
Afternoon height - 6ft1.25 / 186cm
Evening height - 6ft1 / 185cm
His afternoon height is his official height.
So 186cm should be bang on for Zane. He did look 1.5 inches taller than Leo Dicaprio who in my opinion stands 5ft11.75 as he himself looked to be almost 1 inch taller than 5ft11 Alec Baldwin. DiCaprio might even wake up at 184cm if he's lucky.
Now Lenad's claim of 6ft0.75 for Zane could also be an option. I claim a strong 6ft1 for Zane and Lenad claims a weak 6ft1 for Zane. Overall let's just say that Zane's height is somewhere between 184cm-187cm.

James, on one Charmed episode it had both Julian McMahon and Billy Zane on it but they had a scene together talking in the hall but you couldn't get any height comparison at all because they never showed they close to compare. Zane had an inch on Leo. Leo is 5'11-5'11 1/2. Zane is at least 6'0 and maybe 6'0 1/2. I doubt very much he would be 6'1 and listed at 6'0. He could be 6'0 1/4-6'0 1/2 and and rounded down perhaps but not a full inch. Hugh says on 8/Sep/08

Had a good 1/2 in over 5'11 Sam Neill in Dead Calm.
