Well, jf, you are correct, the majoraty of the time, John Stamos wore boots that gave him about an inch and a half maybe 2 inches advantage, but still that would make him jsut a little over 6' so I'm starting to see 6'3" for Saget, but never 6'4" in my view jf says on 19/Aug/09
I consider 'towered' to mean about 5" or more. I guess Uncle Jessie was the 2nd tallest member of that cast, so I'd consider Saget's superior 76" to be TOWERING compared to Stamos' (high-heeled?) 71". I dunno...we're splitting hairs here, but Saget is a very tall man to be sure. Even at 6'2.5" (which I think is a low estimate) he is still admirably tall. Robert Saget has lost some height but in the late 80s he was a legit 76-inch man with a plan. Dude TOWERED Michelle on that show. He also TOWERED Uncle Jesse, Uncle Joey, Kimmy Gibler, Stephanie, and DJ Tanner. And Becky. And DJ's boyfriend Steve. Dude TOWERED, like a true 76-inch man should. Now maybe he's a shade under 6'3". This doesn't add up... I have a pic from an old WWF magazine where Saget stands next to Hulk Hogan.. and Hogan had an inch on him. Hulk is listed here at 6'4 also... but as we all know the Hulkster has shrunk quite a bit since his prime due to surgery in his knee and hips. Still I think this is Saget in his prime... and if he's listed with his "prime" height... well... so should the hulkster. |
