Bruce Boxleitner's Height

American actor, best known for playing Captain John Sheridan on TV series Babylon 5 and Lee Stetson on Scarecrow and Mrs. King. In film he plays the title character in Tron, and had memorable roles in The Babe and Kuffs. Bruce mentioned his height in a 1984 St Petersberg Times, saying "I guess I can afford to go up 5 pounds or so. I'm 6-feet-2", although he has also claimed to be 6ft 3. In the LFCC he had a little more footwear and in the Collectormania photo a good 1/2 inch more.

Editor RobI found it tricky to spot the differences, if any. Sometimes I thought because of Doyle's hair being very flat, it might have actually turned out that he could have measured a tad taller.

Rob, ever consider giving Bruce a peak and current?
I think 6ft2¼ peak should be strongly considered if you watch Tron and Babylon 5 and now 6ft1½ (with a chance of 6ft1¾). Still looked 6ft2 with you and Jenny but those were 12 and 8 years ago respectively

I would consider 188 or 189 cm a peak. He edged out bridges and stood well with Garrett Hedlund (A solid 187 cm - 188 cm person who actually edged out Hugh Jackman with barely thicker footwear).

In Mikey's pic he looks around 1.5 - 2 inches taller than Bridges, so if Bridges is really 6'1 then Bruce is more like 6'2.5 - 6'3. But of course we can't see the ground or what kind of shoes they're wearing, not to mention their postures aren't perfectly straight.
Assuming Bruce really is 1.5 - 2' taller though, then either he's really closing in on 6'3 or Bridges is under 6'1. Personally i suspect Bridges has shrunk a bit and is now about 6' flat in reality, so that would result in basically a weak 6'2 (187 cm) Bruce, which is exactly what is think he is today. Possibly a legit 6'2 - 6'2.5 in his prime, he's 60 after all.

you know what when hes standing next to jeff bridges in tron he looks about 2 inches taller in every scene which makes me think jeff was only 5'11-6'0

I met Bruce in the late 70's. I am 6' 2 1/2". There is no doubt in my mind that he is no more than 6'1" tops. Most likely a little shorter.

i was just browsing around the net for babylon 5 stuff when i came across this site all about celeb heights, i met bruce at a book signing, and while i'm no giant he had at least an inch possibly 2 on me, and i'd say i'm aprox 5-11, at my peak i was roughly 6ft so i'd say he was around 6-2. sorry i dont have a pic to prove it i didnt have my camara at the time.
