I was an extra all day for her new movie called "Rebound" and I had the chance to stand right next to her several times. She was wearing huge heeled boots. Her jeans covered up alot of the boots, but they looked similar to these:

The heel on them was 3.5" to 4" I estimated, so they gave her about 3 inches over barefoot height. I am 5'10" in shoes. In her boots, she was a smidge taller than me, 5'10.5" in her boots was what I estimated. Minus 3 inches from the heels, and I pegged her at 5'7.5".

No way that she is 5'7. I have seen her in Mallorca with Michael Douglas, and she is a short woman. She was in flat shoes and she was so little. I would say 5'4 or 5'5 at most.
Also, if she were 5'7, she wouldnt be dwarfed by Nicole Kidman as she was in the oscars.
And about the Renne comparation. Only go to google and search for both names and you will see the chicago press conference in Berlin Film Festival with bout, Catherine and Renne wearing flat shoes and both being about the same height.

I've been her stand in for several T-Mobile Commercials, and two print ads for Ocean's 12 and Vanity Fair. She is exactly 5' 7 1/2. She has 5' 8" on her resume (and so do I but I'm really 5' 7 1/2") We are the same exact height. That is her height barefoot by the way. Guys definitely lie about their height! And whoever said that comment about her being close to the same height as Renee didn't get a good look at them when they were both side by side in heels- that is, both of them in high heels at the same time- look at the dance number at the end of Chicago where you see them both head to toe next to each other, and Catherine is clearly a good 3+ inches taller. All I can say is that I met Michael Douglas in 1981 in the Commissary at 20th Century Fox. (There was a ton of celebrities there at the time). Michael Douglas is definitely shorter than he is listed, as I am a scant 5'10" and though I had on 2" heels, he was barely to my shoulder, and at least 2-3 inches shorter than my husband who was 5'8" but claimed to be taller also. (Many men exaggerate height and add in heel height and often wear lifts). I was stunned at how small a man he was. So...Catherine Zeta Jones is roughly comparable to her husband in height, and so I would guess that she is maybe 5'6" at best and probably shorter, as that is the most her husband is in height, for sure. An eyewitness account of Michael's height, and deductions on Catherine's based upon seeing her in movies with colleagues, and seeing her with him. In these pics, Catherine looks the same or even shorter than Rennee Zellwegger, and both were wearing normal shoes. I would say that in chicago, Catherine looked clearly taller than Rennee because the 5 hinch heels. Normally, they are about the same height. I think 5'7+ is a joke! I just saw her on Saturday Night Live and IN HEELS she's as tall as Keenan Thompson (5'8"). She's about 5'4.5" I'd say. Definitely no more than 5'6", that can't be possible.

Oh puleeze, Picture. So she gave a height that is less than what she really is? Ha ha ha ha. The eyewitness claims are almost always off. It's not people's fault; it's just that it's very easy to think you are looking eye-to-eye with someone but your eyes are really an inch or two off. So I never believe those.

Alot of people think height has to be higher, not so, its proportions that look best. Sometimes shorter is cuter. But a huge awkward women over 5'8" is really just awkward. Once a model isn't a model, one day she will be some tall awkward, hopefully gracefully aging women, but most of the time it will be wierd.
