Jack Carson was a legit 6'2", and Cesar would have been then his peak height of 6'3" (in 1954). By the time of Batman, Cesar was closer to 6'2". The height chart from Batman was a fake, made by the producers to exaggerate reality. If 6'6" Alan Napier had been photographed in front of it, he would have appeared nearly 6'10" !!

here is a photograph of cesar in joker makeup (photo probably dates around 1965-1967) infront of a height chart, he appears to be between 6' 5" and 6' 6" in shoes -

BocaBee, are you drunk?

I personally met Mr.Romero in 1965. He was a handsome, silver haired, extremely polite gentleman, and not much taller than myself. I am 5'6. I would had to say he was no more than 5'9 most. Lifts?? Or just old age shrinkage?

I've got no problem with Cesar being listed as 6'3" when younger, but as he approached his 60's (when most of us got to know him), he was down to 6'2" which is still very tall. I've just seen a clip with him in a 1940's era movie with George Montgomery (6'3") and Cesar is the same height. Rob, now you've had time to upgrade Cesar, any chance of upgrading Fess Parker (and Willard Parker)?

[Editor Rob: well if Fess said he was 6ft 6 I should give him that, I know he said when he was 14 he was 6ft 3 by that age.]

Thanks , Rob , 6'3 was definitely Cesar's height . He was also taller than 6'2 John Payne in "Week-end in Havana" .

Rob , have you taken a look at the Zorro clips I have posted last year ? If you didn't have time to watch them in their entirety , I'll tell you what :

Watch the first video from 1:27 to 1:57
The second from 4:01 to 5:45
the third from 1:00 to 2:02
the fourth from 3:00 to 6:26
the fifth from 2:18 to 4:20

Do you really see Williams being one inch taller than Romero ? Guy's biography has a photo where it's written that he stood 6'2 in the 1940's and I posted it on his page . Cesar is one inch taller than him and in the movie "Donovan's Reef" he was almost as tall as John Wayne even wearing japanese slippers . Their heights have to be switched . Guy was 6'2 and Cesar was 6'3 . What do you think of the clips ?

[Editor Rob: I finally had time to look at these episodes and I agree that cesar looks more like the 6ft 3.]

Cesar was always a solid 6'2" but could easily do a 6'3" in roles when required. In a late 60's "It takes a Thief" he is just two inches taller than 6' (at the time) Robert Wagner, and in a "Bonanza" he is an inch shorter than 6'3" Dan Blocker. I think he and Guy Williams were in reality the same height, plus or minus their boots etc. Adam West was 6'1" not 6'2", which made people think Cesar was 6'3" on "Batman". Have a look at the height difference between Cesar and 6'6" Alan Napier, close to 4". Cesar was always a class act, right to the end!

He looked taller than 1`87 Henry Fonda in Tales of Manhattan. The funny thing is Romero was barefoot while Fonda was in shoes. Another evidence of my claim that he was taller than 1`88
