Rob not sure if you recall the moment vividly but just how bad was Dance's posture in this photo? I struggle to see him reaching 6'2 if it was just him bending his neck, was he bending his knees also or was it just very loose posture?

6'1 for him today is still too low. Nothing under at least 6'1 1/2 today. I'm not saying Rob is a height god, but I'm pretty sure even he's able to tell the difference between someone who is 6'1 and "near 6'2". Bare in mind this just one photo so shouldn't be taken literally. I've seen plenty of times where Rob has met a celebrity twice, where they sometimes look way shorter than their listed height in one photo and then easily that in the other.

As I mentioned about 6 years ago, at his first event 12-13 years ago there were some Alien Cosplayers, which honestly were stinking and they got a photo with him standing...he had a word with the photographer and then sat on a chair for the rest of us.

A small bit over 6ft 3 is always possible.

I don't doubt he was 6'3 at peak, I'm just saying that this picture must have him dropping about three inches in posture if he's 6'2 today (which I find to be plausible, he looks about as tall as Nikolaj). His performance as Benedict in 1993's LAST ACTION HERO is still my favorite--he is such a terrific comic villain. Keep in mind Arnold's Jack Slater had a footwear advantage with the snakeskin cowboy boots and Dance was in dress shoes--and he still had a noticeable edge on a roughly 6'1" (at the time) Arnold. In his prime, he was an easy 6'3", and though he still looms tall and looks to be in pretty good shape considering his age, he's definitely not at peak height anymore. Rob, you nailed it and this photo is proof: 6'3" peak; 6'2" today at age 67. I'm surprised he took that shot with such poor posture: he generally is one of the better actors with regard to maintaining good posture.

Honestly i don't think he was ever over 190 CM. Probably 188 (6'2) at night , 190 (in the morning ) and 189 (6'2.5) during the day.

He has quite large hands and a large skeleton; he always strikes me as more like 6'4", but 6'3" is believable at minimum. For some reason, big hands just intimidate me and make people seem larger to me. lol

Mmm he sure looked tall in For Your Eyes ONly in his prime, looked 6'3"-6'4". I think he is a legit 6'3" tall man and was similar in height to Ali G if not a little taller and Sacha Baron Cohen is a strong 6'3" himself. I could buy 192cm for Dance.

Charles dance is a legitimatley tall man, if anything his agency may downgrade his height as his area of expertise acting wise does not require height,.... i have seen him beside many other tall people, hes easy 2 inches taller than hugh jackman, and hes easily the same height as ali G, i would even estimate him as high as 6'4

I saw him yesterday in Scoop and he looked huge. It is true that he was beside Woody Allen and Scarlet Johanson who aren`t really tall people. But next to them he looked taller than Hugh Jackman who was also in the film. He could be taller than 1`91

I met Charles Dance about a year and I am 5ft 10 and was wearing heels so was about 6ft and he still towered over me so I would guess a height more at 6ft 4 at least for him.... and he was oh so charming too! mmm!
