I came into the lounge with my tea to view a particularly funny scene from Carry On Again Doctor. Charles’s doctor character is having trouble with an old lady who thinks that every man wants to get her into bed! It doesn’t exactly help when there’s a Dr Nookie amongst the staff! 😂😂😂

The funny thing when watching a Carry On film is that you know you’re going to laugh at the silliest of things!
In Carry On Cabby, Charles Hawtrey pulls the door knob off while trying to leave the cab office after a successful interview. Then Sid James shows him how it’s done: you simply push the door as it was open anyway!!!!! 😂😂😂

Arch. Rob and myself are quite correct. It's just the angle that they are standing in carry on camping. Look at carry on again doctor and carry on matron. Kenneth Williams is clearly half an inch shorter than Charles Hawtrey.

I'm not sure on those two, but I know Williams only looked about an inch taller than Hattie Jacques in Camping, 5'7 for both seems a tad high.

Mmm not sure, in Khyber I agree Hawtrey did seem to edge Williams but others I saw it looked the other way around. I don't think Hawtrey looked 5'7.5 with Sid James. To me both WIlliams and Hawtrey looked in 5'6.5-7 range.

If you watched most of the carry on films you would notice that Charles Hawtrey was always half and inch taller than Kenneth Williams when they were standing next to each other. Charles Hawtrey was 5FT 7 and a half.

I would have guessed him taller. He was exceptionally thin and older than he looked though.
