Cornell is taller than I thought. I thought based on his slim build he would be 5'10" ish or 5'11''. But I do admit come to think of it he does appear really tall in their 90's video "My Wave" so I think Chris is about an inch or so taller than me and I'm 6'1".

Do you think 189cm is possible? He did look 6ft2.5 in the 90's, and also, he gave his height as both 6ft2 and 6ft3. I am about 5ft8.5, and I'll say both 5'8 AND 5'9(either or) depending on my mood. So I think there is a good chance he is a fraction over the 6'2 mark, and the 6'3 was just him rounding up(he was probably younger) while the 6'2 claim was dropping the fraction. Just thought I'd drop that in, because he is my favorite vocalist.

Also, if he straightened up, he would be 189cm in this pic, IMHO.

Staley had a strong 5'11 ish. No more than that. He was pretty skinny, using boots in most of the time. Cantrell has a weak 6'1 (184-185). Kinney has 6'1 1/2. Mike Inez, a weak 5'9. Mike Starr, maybe has 5'8-5'9 range. Cornell's height is about 6'1 1/2 - 6'2.

In articles and other sources, he get's described as 5'11", 6', 6'0.5", or 6'1". He can look under 6' in pictures sometimes but most people who met him tend to say he was a over the 6' mark in reality.

I met Chris Cornell on a ferry in Seattle a few years ago. He is pretty tall. 6'2" for sure.I also heard he has a little pecker and likes to dress up as a baby during sex.

Anyone know how tall the other members of Soundgarden are? None of their pics Ive seen are too good for guessing but based on videos Ben Shepperd looks to be even taller than Cornell, like at least 6' 4'', maybe hes less and im exaggerating cause hes lanky. Kim Thayil is obviously shorter but doesn't look too short, maybe 5' 10? Don't know about Matt Cameron.

He always looked around 6'1.5 to me. Staley wasn't much shorter either. He looked like a good 6'0.5 to me, and I always thought he had pretty long legs.

The bassist of audioslave is a strong 6ft2, he is more 6ft1 I believe.
