nice to see him on here. i saw him at a distance in edinburgh at the fringe did seem to tower over your average scot! have heard him say 6ft 4 on mock the week when they were talking about that really tall footballer- crouch i think.

I never saw him as being that tall, perhaps 6', but have only seen him on Mock the Week (sitting) and stand up (he is alone on stage). I was surprised to learn that he is as tall as 6'4''.

He is massive but was very nice about having the photo taken with me despite it being 5am during the Fringe! Im 6'2.5 and a UK13 show but he was much broader than me. I weigh 14 stone (196 lbs) but id guess hed be at least 16 (224 lbs). I was 17 when that photo was taken and ive bulked up a fair bit since then! lol.

He's a pretty tall bloke, indeed. It was so funny seeing him interviewing Lucy Porter (pint sized!) at the Edinburgh comedy festival. He was about twice her height! It actually looked ridiculous and she said her neck was sore looking up!

I'd like to see him and Fry match up. Fry's 6'4.5" on this site (which looks about right to be honest) and Dara wouldn't be much smaller but somehow I can picture Stephen being maybe an inch taller. To me Dara looks about 6'3.5"?

yeh 6'4" is about right. on the tv show "QI", they were discussing the average height of eskimos being 5'4", and he said "well i'd be exactly a foot taller"

Thats me in the pic and me that submitted it to celebheights and to be honest he looked taller than 6'4. I was measured when i was 18 as i was playing basketball for scotland so im pretty sure im 6'2.5 and i know alot of people add an inch or so to their height but i think dara may drop an inch, i think hes 6'5. Having said that i was wearing converse allstars and as i remember he was wearing dress shoes with a slight heel so i may be wrong.

I think judging the pic above Dara could be even taller than 6'4. He appears to be bending down abit and is already a good 1.5 inches taller than the 6'2.5 guy. Perhaps 6'4.5 - 6'5?

I saw this guy on Jonathon Ross last night and Dara did say he was 6'4 and next to jonathon ross who is supposed to be about 6'2 he looked a good 2-3 inches taller than him

When I saw him on Jack Dee Live at the Apollo I really thought he was about 5'10" (Jack Dee is tiny though). But at the comedy awards he looked a good 2-4 inches taller than Jonathan Ross, so I'd say 6'4" - 6'5". In that photo though, he looks as if he's leaning in quite a lot.
