Yes. He was about 2 inches taller than Gere in Officer and Gentlemen. I would say he is just marginally over 5'11".

The reason why David Keith looks at least 2 inches taller than Richard Gere in "An Officer and a Gentleman" is because he IS (or at any rate, was) 2 inches taller. Richard Gere is quite a lot smaller than many people realize; my 5'8 1/2" [male] friend met him and he is no more than 5'9" maximum - and that's probably being a little generous.

In an NCIS Episode he played a Navy Captain, at the end he faced 6'0 Mark Harmon (Agent Gibbs) and he was slightly shorter than him. I'd say 181-182cm.

Sorry on this pallie...I saw him at the club where River Phoenix died...I forget the name of it...anyway, he stood right in front of me...literally, we were checking out the women... and I am 5'11"...it almost like I was peering over his head...6 foot, uh uh...sorry not here..I would give him 5'10" at best...sorry to inform
