This photo was not up for viewing three years ago when I posted my comments. It
shows amazing humility to bend at the knees like this to make the subjects look balanced.

Maybe he is still 6ft2 \_-_-_-Hugh-_-_-_/ says on 5/Mar/09
Maybe a little over 6ft2 in his prime and say 6ft1.75 now. misha says on 19/Mar/07
I have argued that the "slouch" stance doesn't take away as much height as one
might thik, but in David Warner's case, his posture is so egregiously awful that he must be losing a solid inch minimum - and it's always been bad - see
"Straw Dogs" (1971) This is a very tall man, unquestionably a legitimate 6'3" in his early days, perhaps a bit over 6'2" now if he were to ever straighten
himself up fully. "Time After Time" (1982) shows the kind of menace he can project throughout a film. Elio says on 7/Jan/07
My Dad saw him on the London underground the other week and said he looked very tall. My dad's 5'9.5" and estimated Warner was 'about 6'4"', which is obviously an exaggeration. But I think he probably is the full 6'2", and maybe was wearing decent heeled footwear to appear so tall. larry says on 24/Mar/06
He looks the same height as Bruce Boxlitner (sp?) in Tron and 1" taller than 6'1" Jeff Bridges. I think he's still a solid 6'2" tall. |
