All three times I was measured were in the late morning and early afternoon. I don't know if the doctors round up or round down. I hope that helps. Derek Mears looks significantly taller than 6'3" Richard Brooker who played Jason is part 3. CJ Graham who is also 6'3" looks a taller than Richard Brooker. Is it the foot wear? Derek Mears dwarfs the 6'3" Jasons. Could be the footwear and camera angles. But Derek is signifigantly taller than the past Jasons. Usually 6'3"-6'5" there isn't a big notice. I don't know...? I wonder who's taller, Derek Mears or the previous guy to portray Jason, Ken Kirzinger. I'd say this is a really close one, because Derek could be a little over 6'5, as you can see in the picture with Jeff, and Ken looked 7ft tall in Freddy Vs. Jason :)). That's obviously because of the huge boots he wore in that movie, but Ken is pretty much 6'5, just like Derek. I'd say they're both pretty much the same height. What do you guys think? 210 lbs ? Are you Kidding, someone at his height and built like him is 230 pounds easy. Think about it people, a man who is well built and mostly muscle at 6'5 is gonna be well over 200 pounds. He could even be 240, my guess is he is 235. Im 6'0 and 212 and know that if someone who was 6'5 and built like him stood next to me, he would have me by 25 to 30 pounds. Alex says on 2/Mar/09

Morning height should not be used as you are only taller due to more fluid in the spine which drains out during the day. James, midday or evening height you'll be seen out. Almost never out of bed height but your mid-late morning height you can be seen at. Say you get up and go somewhere 2-3 hours later you'll be in between your out of bed and midday height likely. Jason says on 27/Feb/09

in my opinion, if your over 6' then ur already above average so i see no point in trying to round up.
i am 6'3.75 morning. in the afternoon i can get as low as 6'3.25 . so im def. a strong 6'3. but its not that important to me, so when people ask i just say 6'3. i dont throw in .5" or .75" or round up like some do.
im wonder if mears is doing the same. he looks a bout 6'5.5". mybe he thinks the way i do and doesnt bother with quarters of inches. so he claims 6'5. and ill give it to him, as a strong 6'5 John says on 23/Feb/09

James, yea 195cm is pretty much dead on 6'4.75 while 196cm is just under 6'5 1/4 so 196cm is closer to 6'5 than 195cm is. I can agree that 194-195cm is a weak 6'5 and 196-197cm is a strong 6'5. Also depends what time of the day they are that height. Jake777 says on 20/Feb/09

Well in the new Friday remake which I just saw, Mears and Jared Padalecki(6ft4)look almost identical in height. Granted it's only an inch, so that will be barely noticeable, but at several times during the film Padalecki edged out Mears. They both wore boots with substantial heels, Padalecki's were more motorcycle style and Mears were more costruction.
Either way if he's 6f4ish or 6ft5ish he rocked as Jason, and was easily the best to don the mask in my opinion! He was lean but built, fast as hell, and looked huge in costume. Not Kirizinger huge, but equally imposing and creepy!And as for the kills, I'd say he'd give all the other Jasons a serious run for their money!

James, if you were to draw a line from the top of their heads how the picture if Jeff would be at least as tall as Derek, maybe slightly taller like 1/4 inch but is a bit closer to the camera so would break about even.
