Maria Sharapova was 17 when she won Wimbledon, and was 5ft11/180cm, Now she stands at 187cm/6ft1.5. I am guessing she grew some at 18 and 19.

I'd actually say this is about right. I always think of her as being around 5'4" but having looked at a few pictures standing next to the likes of Cheryl, Dermot etc, this height seems reasonable. santy says on 21/Dec/10
i thought she looked about 5'6 on the xfactor next to Dermot. she has (or at least had) very bad posture and tended to do the live shows in her bare feet, all making her look smaller/dermot look taller, when in reailty there's not that much between them. |
