Rob you like look like near 5ft 10in rather than 5ft 9in in that picture who had thicker footwear him or you it looks like nearly 2 inches difference rather than 1 inch difference if your head didn't tilt in that picture you would be 2 inches taller than him instead of 1 inch taller than him.

I'm not sure I get it. This guy was unknown before LOTR. He played a Hobbit. He appeared to be about 4'8". I realize that that was movie magic but his future would seem to be playing shorter guys - no? Why would he try to appear taller? George Clooney or Robert Downey Jr. or Al Pacino who in real life are about the same size as Dominic might need to appear taller but they play leads. Young Dominic here is a character actor - a fine character actor indeed - he should go after the the parts that Elisah Cook Jr. used to play.
Remember in the Maltese Falcon how Bogart dominated Cook? Bogart wasn't that big, but Cook was tiny. I could see Mr. Monaghan filling that role - a little supporting actor to make the hero look big. Taro says on 23/Sep/11

I'm pretty sure Elijah isn't averse to wearing bigger heels and/or lifts. Look at how short Billy Looks in that last pic MD. I don't think Billy is 5'3" if Elijah is 5'5" ish. More likely Elijah is standing an inch or so taller than his barefoot height. MD says on 8/Jan/11

I guess if you don't agree that Dominici is really closer to 5'6", than you're going to have to raise Wood's height, because there is not a full two inch difference between the two. Not even close.

Two of the soundest down to earth guys you could meet talked soccer with dominic as we both support support the same team Man U talked about venice beach and Ireland with Elijah didnt realise how small the two of them are in real life until I met them but what they lack in height they make up for in charm and carisma. He's always struck me as a pretty solid 5'6". No lower, and this makes sense when you see that he only gave himself 5'7" on his drivers license.
