In UgLy Betty you realise he is Of average height/5ft10, as there are many tall women on that show, who all wear heels so they become around 5ft11-6ft2 and he is shorter then most of them.

Because of his small face I feel he gives a shorter impression.

Mesh, that's because Rebecca has on heels all of the time on the show. She's still taller than him without them, but that's why she dwarfs him on the show. I'd still say he's only 5'10" even, though.

@ Ali: He's not short, but on the taller side of average. Although America is short, I still find it hard to believe that people thought he was 6' on the show.

@ mesh: I also thought he looked 175, sometimes a bit taller, sometimes shorter given his posturing. Rebecca looks 5'11" and with heels she looks even taller so she'd obviously tower him. And yes, odd series but nonetheless hilarious.

I'm surprised some people thought he was so tall. I always thought he was 5'9" to be honest, until I saw this picture. Although he does have boots on, he looks closer to 5'11". Perhaps 5'10 1/2"?

It's funny I knew he wasn't 6 foot, but they list him as that everwhere! Rebecca Romijn I believe is actually slightly taller than him (5'10.5"), and towers over him in Ugly Betty. I also noticed that he has been with some pretty tall models on the show who look to be about 5'9" or 5'10" if he were 6 foot the height gap wouldn't be that large unless they wear wearing mega huge heels.
