Which one was Evigan - BJ or the Bear? If he's the bear, I give him signifcantly shorter...

I went to school with Evigan at Sayreville War Memorial High School in New Jersey, and yes, he was almost 6' 3" (he was actually 6' 2 1/2" at that time). One of the dumbest kids I ever knew, but very well-liked by a good portion of the school population. Singing voice was very average and couldn't act worth a damn, but all of the girls liked him. He always had the second role in all of the musicals and plays, as he was never a leading man because he couldn't remember his lines. Really don't know how the hell he ever made it to Hollywood, but it was said that the acting teacher at Sayreville High got him that audition in New York. Another thing most people don't know about him is he was offered the key to Sayreville after his success in BJ and the Bear and he never showed up for it. The whole town turned out to greet him and he just never showed. He never even had the decency to let the mayor know that he wasn't planning on coming. The entire town was upset at him!

Reiser was alwasy listed at 5-11, and Evigan seemed to be about 4 inches taller. Maybe you can get ahold of some old clips from BJ and the Bear, and figure out Evigan from the Bear's stats!
