I am generally aversive to quarter inches, but it is completely warranted in this case. Hayden would edge out any weak or flat 6'0 dude by close to 1 cm, so I'd say he's in the 183.5-184 range

@ simon L-- Jackson has relaxed posture in many photos so he will appear a bit shorter than he actually is. If Hayden was that close to 6.05 he would be looking close to 3 inches taller than Ewan McGregor and he just doesn't. Looks 2-2.5 inches taller in most pictures.

IMO he’s a 6-plus-a-little footer who looks taller than he is. I thought he was 6’2” for years. People have mentioned his thinner frame, but one other thing that helps him look tall is his smaller than average head. (Not meant as shade - just compare his head size to some of his co -stars’ in press pics). One way we subconsciously estimate height is by looking at someone’s head size to body length ratio. Having a smaller head makes your body look longer by comparison.

Bob Anderson, the expert swordsman was about the same height as Hayden and was Vader in the costume for the duels in Empire Strikes Back & Return of the Jedi. He wore 2-3 inch lifts, but Bob towered over the (at most) 5'8" Hamill anyway. Remember also that the mechanical Darth Vader had mechanical limbs that added height. Hayden didn't just wear the suit in ROTS, he wore a padded undersuit and was put on lifts in the few scenes he was in. For the Kenobi series stunt actors usually wore the suit for the most part, they ranged from around 6'3" to 6'7"

I still find it hard to see much over 2.5 inches when next to 5-9.5 Ewan McGregor. The theory (and it could be correct) is that McGregor seems to have a longer spine and could therefore be taller than 5-9.5 at some points of the day like the below picture if it was early afternoon.

Gwendoline and Hayden both appeared at this event and you can see in pictures that Gwendoline is taller than the 'Sergeant' who is reputed to be 6-4 and it is said that Gwendoline is not wearing heels. It seems then that the Sergeant cannot be over 6-3 then really.

Out of all the listed 6 foot celebs I have seen, most guess Brown the tallest at over 6'0.4" inches. David Duchovny is guessed at 6'0.3" or so. I am canadian, precisely from Vancouver and Hayden too.
I've met him in my town a couple of years ago and stayed in front of him for a couple of minutes.
I can confirm that he's at least 1,83 m: I am 1,82 m and he was a bit taller than me. Maybe not properly 1,84 m but for sure in feet 6' or 6'0.25.

The only time I thought he properly stood out looking taller than 6 was in Jumper, but maybe that's because of his onscreen relationship with Rachel Bilson who is 5ft1. Other times he looks just around the 6 foot range, but obviously with a slender frame can give a slightly taller impression.

I think Hayden was a poor choice as Anakin looking back at it, Heath Ledger was actually considered for the role at the time, but they wanted a North American actor to portray Anakin. Thinking about it, Ledger portrayed mostly heroic actors until he was the Joker in the Dark Knight, which was his final and career defining role, he would have been the perfect choice to portray Anakin, had the perfect blend of charisma and personality for the role.
That being said Hayden is 6 feet even and nothing more.

I watched a bit of takers and he is not 6 foot 2. He is shorter than idris elba and paul walker by a few cms. About the same height as chris brown. A few inches taller than ti. 6 foot is about right.
