tall guys like that wouldnt surprise me that he would give a lower end too.like that james cromwell who said to me he was nearly 6-7,but i think has claimed 6-6.he does look 6-5ish now.pete steele claims 6-7,6-8.but he can look 6-5,6-6.im sure in reality he is close to 6-7 too.its a great story about savatage, and im glad it happened, but its not like i auditioned or anything.or up for consideration.just a passing comment.thats pretty wild. Metalmaniac says on 16/Jan/08
A friend of mine, mr. Uuttu, is a big fan of Priest`s Turbo era. His favourite songs are You´ve got another thing coming and Parental Guidance. What do you say Glenn? BS songs in my opinion. D. Ray Morton says on 16/Jan/08
Glenn - he told you 6'7"? Weird. He definitely looked like he could be that height for sure, but he said 6'6" when I interviewed him in the early 90s. I still have the tape, actually. But if he told you 6'7", I have to say that I wouldn't doubt for a second that he was. Super-tall guy.
That's an awesome story about Savatage. I mean, holy ****! glenn says on 16/Jan/08
i was in the 24 hours video!!!! thats how i got to know them.no camera on me.wish i posed with criss.he was nice, but shy.but i think im cut out of the video.all those hours for nothing.hanging out with caffery one night,2000,out of the blue,in passing,he asked me if i could sing.i honestly told him not good enough for you guys.they were looking for someone to replace zach.it was no big deal.but still a cool strory.i totally forgot they did get a replacement.and i dont even remember his name.nothing against him.fortnate for them, tso made them rich, and they deserve.but many delays now with savatage.2007 was supposed to be a anniversary savatage year with album.now, jon is hinting to get use to his olivas pain albums.as those are the closest youll get to savatage.as least we have those and the circle to circle cds with zach.zach i never met,but i imagine is 6-1 or so.jeff plate is 5-9.criss oliva was 5-8.cris caffery is 5-8.5.alex skolnick is 6-1.jon oliva is 6ft.al pittreli is 5-8. Danimal says on 15/Jan/08
Glenn, you almost sang for Savatage??? Bro, how, when?? They're one of my fave. bands. From Sirens (1983) to Edge of Thorns (1993) they just got better and better. EPIC sound. 24 hours ago!!! glenn says on 14/Jan/08
scott was actually 6-7 once.he also told me 6-7.he shrunk a bit. D. Ray Morton says on 14/Jan/08
Scott told me he was 6'6". And he looked it. Definitely taller than 6'4". Huge guy. MetalManiac says on 14/Jan/08
How tall is Scott Travis? About 6-4 I guess. glenn says on 14/Jan/08
im exaggerating, but know those guys and they are one of my favorites,so when chris caffery asked once me if i can sing,i was blown away.of course i cant sing that good.not for them at least. he also mentioned me working with them as a photographer on the road.kept losing touch with him.saw him in the summer and still forgot to myspace him some stuff.or ask for his number again. glenn says on 14/Jan/08
frank3- i listen to it all.except nu metal.that sucks.in the 80s my top 10 or 20 wouldve had kiss, aerosmith, metallica, megadeth.the 90s wouldve had ministry, nine inch nails, killing joke, samhain.i still love most of those bands.hell,i wish killing joke and ministry made my list now.i just forgot about them.some groups like aerosmith and nine inch nails i outgrew.i tried to do a overall list. Ya gotta love "Hell Patrol," with all those zany lyrics ("Brutalize ya, neutralize ya..." "paratamize ya"..."vaporaprize ya"...suffice it to say, don't **** with the Hell Patrol.)
Painkiller is a beast, though. Definitely one of their best. Great tour, too. Frank3 says on 13/Jan/08

I agree, British Steel is highly overrated. Best albums in my opinion: Sad Wings, Stained, Hell Bent, Defenders and Painkiller.
Best songs might be Leather Rebell, Night Crawler, Exciter, Sinner, Running Wild, etc...
Without a doubt one of the greatest bands EVER.
Glenn... could you name your favourite bands? glenn says on 11/Jan/08

2.Defenders Of The Faith
3.Screaming For Vengeance
4.Sad Wings Of Destiny
5.Stained Class glenn says on 9/Jan/08

its hard not to include sin after sin. D. Ray Morton says on 9/Jan/08
I love all the albums mentioned plus Sin After Sin, which is one of my very favorites. "Diamonds And Rust" was an awesome cover. glenn says on 9/Jan/08
i saw them only a few times between 1990-1992.so yeah,i missed out.one of my childhood friends was at the infamous msg show(the first seat tearing show in history i beleive) in 1984.i remember all the kids talking about it in school.i luckily met holland(5-10) and have a group photo with trapeze.which includes glenn hughes of course.my top 5 fave priest albums are as follows in order 1.hellbent for leather.2 defenders of the faith.3 stained class.4.sad wings of destiny.5 painkiller.i love point of entry and find it experimental and underated.alot of my childhood friends and music experts i know love that album too.as with any hits or hit album, priests biggest selling 2.5 million screaming for vengeance was good but overated to me.the ripper albums,no fault of ripper, were some the worst music in history.that bad.alot i know feel that way.turbo was good if it wasnt priest.otherwise that sucked, and ram it down was ok.kinda sucked.any lists from the rest of you guys please? Anonymous says on 9/Jan/08
5'9" looks very accurate. Best Priest album is Painkiller. Danimal says on 9/Jan/08
Glenn, great pic! What's your opinion on Priest? Your fav. album? What did you think of their 2 albums with Ripper Owens, who now plays with Iced Earth? D. Ray Morton says on 8/Jan/08
Great pic. Hill and Dave Holland were always the under-appreciated ones. Never saw the original lineup, sadly, only the one with Scott Travis. Editor Rob says on 8/Jan/08
