I met Jackson in a hole in the wall taco place (great food!) near his ranch near Santa Barbara. We stood and talked for awhile as we waited for our food, then ended up eating together. We both had flip flops on of the same thickness... I distinctly remember checking because our eyes were at precisely the same level, and that's rare for me. I'm 5'9" barefoot.

Thanks for this pic, Glenn. I met him two times - both when I was very young - so i obviously don't remember how tall he was. He seemed larger than life then.
