Perhaps Belushi used flats while Woods had big shoes in Salvador, they always looked very similar in height during the whole movie. I would say Woods is not taller than 5'11" and not smaller than 5'10", so the current listing is accurate enough. However, he may have lost a little height since he's getting a little older...

I'd like to see Woods again in a memorable role, haven't seen him in anything as good as Salvador in years. How was he in person, Frank2?

Yes, I've met Jim Belushi and he appeared slightly taller than me so I'd say six feet. But now I'm wondering if he wore shoes that boosted him. I've seen Woods and he's always looked an inch shorter than me. Plus check out this clip at 6:55 in. You see Woods standing next to Colby Chester who is about 6'2". Chester used to be under contract to Universal where I'd see him on the lot from time to time. Then Michael Murphy walks into the shot and he's clearly several inches taller than Woods. Murphy is about 6'1":

So this means that either Woods wore lifts or Belushi is actually closer to 5'10" and he wore lifts when I saw him. That also means Belushi wore lifts in ABOUT LAST NIGHT since he's clearly two inches taller than 5'10" Rob Lowe. I've seen Lowe and he's 5'10".

Interesting how actors seem to grow and then shrink and then grow. That's why they call those shoes elevators.

Oh, that entertainment website Rob won't let me mention claims Belushi is 5'11".

So unless he wore lifts next to Woods, I'd say Woods is in the 5'10" area. However, Woods did look the same height and sometimes taller than James Belushi in Salvador (1986). Belushi is listed as 5'11" and some claim he is closer to 6', have you met Belushi Frank2?

There's a short moment where Woods stands right next to David Hyde Pierce in the the movie Nixon (1995). Pierce is listed here as 5'9.5" but could be as low as 5'9" and Woods looked only slightly taller, as in around 5'10".

Bet all you want. I've seen Woods in the flesh and he's shorter than me by about an inch. Watch CONTACT and you clearly see that Woods is an inch shorter than 5'11" Tom Skerritt. I worked at Fox when Skerritt starred in PICKET FENCES and saw him all the time. He was my height.

I simply don't believe he's over 6 ft in that pic, how could he possibly look 6 ft 1-1.25 in that pic? Unless his forehead was more than 4 inches long. Again I se a 10 cm difference probably 10.5.

If you click on the bottom right of the picture you can see Glenn's top of the head reaches Woods's eyebrows but his head is clearly leaning just a bit, which means he is (or was) 6 ft, nothing more or less, probably 5 ft 11.75 or 6 ft 0.25 but 6 ft even sounds more accurate.

if Glenn confirms the pavement didn't give him any advantage, his peak height should definitely be ugraded to 6'1 and his current height to 6 or a little less. if you compare this picture to others of Glenn with legit 6'1, there's little doubt this guy is much more than the listed peak 5'11

The guys saying he looks more than 6 ft in the pic are simply exagerating, he may be 6 ft right on the dot or maybe even 182 cm. I simply don't see a 12 cm difference there (which should be under the eye, is Glenn's top of the head under his eyes level? no) 6 ft 2 is ridiculous. Anything from 5'11.5 to 6 feet is possible, but I don't see anything over or under that. Probably 5'11.75.

In this pic he does look tall around 6'1'' - 6'2'', but there is a lot of pics of him in which he doesn't look over 5'11'' - 6'0''. The angle and the the sloping ground makes him look taller. I think he was 6'0'' ish in his youth. Glenn I think that you are right about Kevin Dillon. He probably is 5'10'' in the morning. He tends to slouch which makes him look 5'8'' - 5'9''.

On last weeks SHARK episode James Woods was wearing some really big heels.
I was surprised that they left the shot in the program. He was gathered around all his lackys and it was obvious from the shoe shot that he is not the tallest in the bunch. I'd give him 5'10".

Ok you guys got it wrong again he is not 5'10. Watch Once Upon A Time in America. DeNiro was close to 5'10 at his peak I am very sure of this. Woods has got DeNiro by id say close to 2 inches. At his peak Jimmy was a strong 5'11. Not 6 feet but 5'11 1/2 is possible.

Well, the first time I met Kirk Douglas was way back in the 1960's at a party and he was nearly my height. But he was wearing lifts. Back then I didn't know what lifts were. I had a friend explain it to me. Then I saw Douglas again a couple of years later and could see his lifts and how they made him taller. He had really good ones and wore his pants long so they covered his foot. The last time I saw him he was already old and didn't give a damn and was not more than 5'6". He was so bowlegged that he could barely walk. That was right before his bad helicopter accident which was followed by a terrible stroke.
