When I was 13 I stopped growing, but I am perfectly happy being 5ft 2in tall. Even though it is an average height, many designers don't seem to make clothes for smaller women, still less for those who are size eight, like me.
As I am short, when I was a model I was mainly asked to do head-shots for hair and make-up of covers for the younger magazines such as Just 17 and Company.

Stunning beauty and perfect proportions. I saw her way back in "Zen" a Chinese restaurant in Montreal. She was sitting at her table with a lady who I assumed to be her agent. I remember thinking how slim she was. At one point, she got up and seemed pretty tall on her high heels. Loved the way she moved. Then my date kicked me from under the table, I picked up my jaw from the table and went back to my Pekin Duck.
