She was very candid when talking to BUST magazine about her height, admitting that the only thing about herself she liked was being short and "people in general, I find lower to the ground more appealing. I'm used to short people. I'm 5'1", my sister's 4'11", my brother's 5'6", mom 5'2", father 5'7", so I'm very comfortable around dwarves, and all my extended family is very tiny and most of my friends have been on the very short side."

Janeane just said on a podcast that she met Ellen Page and "Towered" over her. Seeing as both their heights are listed as 5'1, it's fair to say somebody is lying.

I stood in front of her at whole foods one time in Union Square. I knew it was her, but I didn't say anything. I wanted to tell her how awesome I think she is, but yea she is small.

even in her movies like "The Truth About Cats and Dogs" she says she's 5'1" Go Janeane!!! Hollywood has gotten so obsessed with being thin and tall I think it's great that Janeane embraces her unique qualities

I tend to say 5ft 1 when I'm only 5ft. I find it hard to believe she would be as short as me though maybe 5'4?

I heard 5'2" once, but people love to "heighten" the short ones! This is great, because I'm 5'1", and I have yet to find a celebrity of this status. Woo!
