rob i tihink you should give him 6´1 peak and 6 foot 1/4 todaty. he still looks 184 range he can thave been less tahn 185 peak the guy is 76 years old he must have lost more than a couple of mm.

Saw him on Three's Company and he could appear near 2in taller than John Ritter (solid 5ft11, possibly 5ft11¼). But if he's still a fraction over 6ft at 70 I think it could be very possible.

On his several appearances on "Three's Company", he is slightly taller than 5'11" John Ritter. Based solely on this, I would estimate his height at 5'11.75".

He's 70 like he said on the Golden Globes though, I think he's lost a bit of height. Could be a weak six foot now (maybe as low as 5'11.5"), maybe 6'0.5"-6'0.75" at peak.

I saw him onstage in Glengarry Glen Ross. He could have passed for 6'1" though the listing is alright. He was a solid inch or so shorter than Liev Schreiber (by a slight margin, the tallest looking cast member), Alan Alda (when he straightened up) and Frederick Weller and seemed to be taller for sure than Tom Wopat and several inches over Gordon Clapp.

Assuming his shoes are 1", He is almost 6'1" His head touches 6'1 1/2" which would make him an inch shorter roughly if he is wearing shoes that are 1". I would say 6'0 1/2" is close to the truth. Wouldn't go any lower than 6'0 1/4 though.

Vince Vaughan was on a Larry Sanders episode once and grabbed hold of Tambor. Vaughan was clearly taller but the difference was 3-4 inches. Tambor did not look dwarfed next to 6'5'' Vaughan.
