No Chameleon, 6ft for Carrey isn't "total bunk". I have to give you credit, this is the second celebrity for whom you have provided evidence to make me think twice about my 186cm estimate for Carrey! That said, I still think he is more than a flat 6ft, but it is arguable.(Again that's why I respect you, you provide evidence and will actually discuss your opinions with passion and intelligence, not just say, "he's 6ft, you moron!!!)
But anything less than a full 6ft2 peak for Freeman is bunk, in fact, it is far beyond bunk!!! If anything I'd say 189cm is much more likely for Freeman at peak than 187cm. Of course he's lost height now, but managed to look a solid 187 even in his late 60's, completely annihilating 182cm Christian Bale!!!

I respect you, so I have looked at your pics, or at least a few I saw. I didn't see any pics with Zellweger, but I did watch me, myself, and Irene years ago, and I swear to you I thought he looked considerably shorter than he ever did before that!!! But I have seen a lot of Carrey's movies, and unless he is wearing lifts, I don't see how he could be under the 185cm mark. 2things:
1. I saw the pic with Ewan, and he was struggling to even look 184cm, BUT I wouldn't put lifts past Mcgreggor(who's 5ft9 listing already looks suspect with George Clooney)
2. That is a weird pic to judge height from with Freeman. In the actual movie, Freeman wasn't more than an inch taller than Carrey, and in some scenes it was honestly more of a 2cm difference. Oc course, a 63 year old Freeman might have been slipping under the 6ft2 mark, but I personally see Freeman as 189cm guy at peak, who was honestly still 6'2" in early 60's. And I am sorry, but I just don;t see more than a 1cm footwear advantage on Carrey's part, though it has been a minute since I have seen the movie.
Ultimately, I can see a 184-185cm argument, definantly. But 183 is just too low.
Think about it this way: Christian Bale is literally just under the 6ft mark in the afternoon/evenings. So I would put him at 5ft11.5, maybe even 5ft11.75in, but NOT quite 6ft,as it is impossible(have undeniable evidence, in him being shorter than Robert Sean Leanord throughout an entire movie, including with equal footwear and both feet visible in one scene). But he wakes up 6ft for sure. Point is, he is a good deal shorter than Freeman, Carrey was only 3-4cm shorter, counting a 1cm footwear advantage. If Carrey was honestly just 1cm taller than 182cm Bale, the height difference between him and Freeman should have been about the same as Freeman and Bale, especially considering Freeman has probably lost height by the time he was in Batman.
As I said, I do think 184cm evening height is possible, I have been suspicious of his height ever since seeing Bruce Almighty years ago. But without something else as compelling as the Freeman comparison, I can't bring my "official" estimate under 185cm, and he honestly does look 186cm most of the time(though movies can be deceptive though...)
I'll be on the lookout though, him and Smith seem to have a lot of controverys. Personally, I have seen more evidence of Will Smith being a weak 6ft1 then Carrey, but that's neither here nor there. EIther way, we can agree they're 6ft2 claims are crap!!!

Either way, 6'1 range. I could see a 184.5-185cm argument, but I just don't understand why you people have to pick the lowest LOGICAL height and then knock 3-4cm off of it as your claim.
Personally, I think 186cm could dead on for Carrey. He certainly isn't under 185cm, at any time of day, EVER, and could very well measure 6ft2 out of bed, though otherwise his "6'2" claim is bunk.
