Frank2, you're absolutely right. Jimmy Smits is extremely nice. Once I was at Islands (a restaurant) on Pico and was crowded near the bar waiting for a table and accidentally spilled some of my iced tea on a tall guy who happened to be Mr. Smits. He was so nice. I actually saw him in person in the theater. he was trying to promote his boxing movie "Price of Glory" back in 2000. I saw him walking alone around the hallway outside the theater while they're showing his movie. I thought his movie must be sucked. Sure enough, his movie tanked. When you show up for your movie premiere and you are walking around alone by yourself while your movie is showing, then you know your movie will tank. But he looked extremely tall and big. Its funny, I guess 6'2 an 6'4 are more "iconic" in a sense Viper. IDK.... I just rarely hear anyone say 6'3. I mean I know legit 6'3 guys who say 6'4 and such And when someone is over 6'2 , they seem to say "like 6'3 or 6'4" even if they are barely a flat 6'3. Seems like they they are trying to seem closer to 6'4. I mean, it may be me, it may be people liking even numbers, idk. I think its because 6-2 is considered one of those "preferred heights". And that 6-4 is a starting point for looking "very tall". Makes sense. 6-4 is also mentioned in songs, tv, movies, ect. It has that aura about it. 6-3 is just the odd man out. glenn says on 3/Jan/08

I ran into him at a baja fresh a few yrs ago. I thought that he was about 6 ft tall before I met him. When I ran into him I said to myself,"Man I didn't know that this guy was that tall." I think there is no doubt that he is 6ft3, what I'd really like to see is pics of him with Hayden Christensen and or Samuel L Jackson,(non film stills)because I'd like to see the comparison. I still can't make out why Smits dwarfed Christensen in Revenge of the Sith who is apparently 6ft1. with shoes he would be 6ft2ish especially more so if he was wearing big heeled boots for the Star Wars movies. The man is gargantuan! Sat behind him at a play this evening. He's definitely around (if not slightly over?) 6'3" - and a *large* 6'3" at that.
