I think 5ft11 is pretty close for Joel. Watch Attack of the Clones, and the scenes in which Joel and Hayden Christensen are in together. You'll see they are almost identical. Now Hayden is a reported 6ft1, Rob has him at 6ft.05, which is probably pretty accurate, I might give him 5ft11.5 at the most though. And as far as Orlando Bloom goes, the dude is always wearing cowboy boots or those big chunky soled shoes that Colin Farrel wears. I think he is 5ft9 to 5ft9.5 at most, and close to 5ft11 with his big boots.

I'm not sure, he was an inch shorter than Orlando Bloom in Ned Kelly... Did they make Orlando wear special 19 century lift?

Ok I've always being meaning to look up this guy since I saw him in King Arthur recently, but I always forget. I have met Joel a couple of time some two or so years back. He used to shop with his then girlfirend Cathy Freeman (5'4" - 5'5")at my former place of work. He's minimum 5'11", I'd say more likely 5'11 1/2". I remember he was only slightly shorter than the 6'0" tall manager I had at the time.
