Overall 5'10.5 seems like a mark he'd be close to, could argue a fraction above or below, so 5'11 isn't a terrible claim from him. He stands quite relaxed a lot of the time when posing for photos, so I can see how he seems no more than 5'10 at times as well.

Rob, In premiere pics from 'the King', him and Mendelsohn really don't look any different in height...Footwear is clearly visible too, and they both edge out Chalamet (wearing big boots).
If anything, Ben could have been a touch taller. Any case, 5-10.75 for Mendelsohn seems the best fit honestly...

They are also not likely to hang out on forums discussing peoples height, since they're not extremely insecure like us guys (don't deny it, you know you are, or this wouldn't matter nor would morning to evening height)

I am starting to think that he's under the 5'11" mark as well, although in MD's photos both Roth and Courtney seem to be standing straighter and are closer to the camera, thus appearing relatively taller. Edgerton seemed to be about an inch shorter than Leonardo DiCaprio. On the other hand, he did seem to be two inches taller than Tom Hardy. The difference between DiCaprio and Hardy generally looks about 2.5-3 inches. Anyway, Edgerton may be more 5'10.5". BTW, pretty cool that his brother directs Bob Dylan's music videos.

In the pretty famous shot of the movie, now, where they are both in the same footwear standing face-to-face (nearly forehead-though-forehead) in the ring, there is AT LEAST a two inch difference, and really it looks like three, to me.

I was surprised to see how short he was in real life- I had a bit of a TV crush on him and his height dissapointed me. I can guarantee you that Joel is no taller that 5'9" with shoes. I'm 5'8, wasn't in a high heels and we were bang on eye level. I even felt taller than him at times.

I think 5ft11 is pretty close for Joel. Watch Attack of the Clones, and the scenes in which Joel and Hayden Christensen are in together. You'll see they are almost identical. Now Hayden is a reported 6ft1, Rob has him at 6ft.05, which is probably pretty accurate, I might give him 5ft11.5 at the most though. And as far as Orlando Bloom goes, the dude is always wearing cowboy boots or those big chunky soled shoes that Colin Farrel wears. I think he is 5ft9 to 5ft9.5 at most, and close to 5ft11 with his big boots.

Ok I've always being meaning to look up this guy since I saw him in King Arthur recently, but I always forget. I have met Joel a couple of time some two or so years back. He used to shop with his then girlfirend Cathy Freeman (5'4" - 5'5")at my former place of work. He's minimum 5'11", I'd say more likely 5'11 1/2". I remember he was only slightly shorter than the 6'0" tall manager I had at the time.
