On the subject of meeting celebs my younger brothers going to meet director Danny Boil in London on Monday. Hugh says on 3/Dec/08
They have this thing going on in my college where they invite guests to give a talk on their careers and give advice to those who plan to choose similiar career paths. Other years they had Will Ferrell and John Heder. Anyway McGinley looked close to 6ft2. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to meet the guy. Flynn next to McGinley looked no more than 6ft5. However I didn't even get close to him either. I did shake Flynn's hand. I'd say I was about 2-2.5inches shorter than Flynn. James says on 2/Dec/08
In that pic Zach Braff looks 5ft11 3/4 or 6ft at the most bearing in mind Mcginely is standing closer to the camera, with a slouch Donald looks 5ft9 3/4 but if he stood straight he would look 5ft11 and Mcginely looks a strong 6ft1 like 185cm-186cm. Lozzer says on 1/Dec/08

Wonder how much taller Zach would look than Donald if he shaved his head. Although my memorey is slightly hazy since I have not seen a whole episodes of scrubs for a while but when Mcginely and Zach are walking next to each other I noticed sometimes the camera angle is slightly looking down on both of them ( this might make the difference look less between them). I think Flynn is over 6ft5 but I only saw 6ft5 flat. He was slouching though. I think Braff is a solid 6ft if you compare him to Donald Faison (5ft11). McGinley is infact 1.5 inches taller than him at least. Aswell I think They do something with the camera angles to make Flynn more imposing than he actually is. I wasn't intimidated in the slightest when I shook the man's hand just weeks ago. McGinley on stage with him appeared at most 3 inches shorter. James says on 28/Nov/08
Zach Braff is not a full 6ft if DJ Qualls is 6ft1 for instance DJ appeared on an episode of Scrubs and even with Zachs big hairstlye he still looked noticibly taller than DJ. I think Zach Braff could be 181-182cm.

Well I don't think Braff is under 6ft. My estimation for Braff and McGinley both without hair is that McGinley would be 1-2inches taller because I saw scrubs the other day, McGinley was bald as a baby and Braff had his gravity defying hairstyle and Braff's hair reached the top of McGinley's head. Also McGinley's eyeline was above Braff's by a couple of centimetres. Now I studied this very carefully and I stand by my claim that Braff is a solid 6ft and McGinley is 6ft1/6ft2. Also in Platoon McGinley towered over Charlie Sheen and looked about half an inch at the most shorter than Whitaker. McGinley also towered over Ron Livingston in Office Space. James says on 6/Oct/08

The guy measured him with a measuring tape...hardly very accurate holding a tape against somenone. Unless the guy measuring him was the same height or taller then he's gonna be out by a bit. Also, was he barefoot ? If Fraser said he was 6'2" then that's good enough for me. McGinley ain't 6'2". I'd say he could scrape 6'1" but I have serious doubts..6'0.5" (184 cm) max for him I think. Perhaps an inch yeah, but nothing more. I was watching a couple of episodes of Scrubs the other day and noticed that the difference between Braff and McGinley (when next to eachother) wasn't actually that great, maybe even less than an inch.
McGinley's poses (when he's talking Braff down) as well as Braff's haircut can fool you easily, making McGinley seem - at least - over an inch taller, that's why I looked at their shoulders and their posture. MD says on 8/Apr/07
He was one the late-night show with Carson Daly, the other night, and he was, at least, a full inch shorter than 6'1" Carson. It was surprising. That said, it's pretty obvious he's taller than 6'0" Zach Braff, right? Is it a full inch? Height Tracker says on 7/Apr/07

Noticed Johnny C's height got taken down to 6'1. I still think he's just a little under 6'2. I recently watched Article 99 and there seemed to only be about a half inch difference between his height and Forest Whitaker's height, who is listed at a little over 6'2, so I think 6'1.5 is about right. sam says on 24/Jan/07
