Seen JBL and Test in the flesh...both looked around 6ft5. If I had to place a bet on who’d measure taller I might give JBL the edge...Test was far more jacked though...JBL had a dad bod and wasn’t really in good shape, wasn’t imposing at all

Unfortunately, unless it was a Combine measurement, Football listings can be very wrong too.
He was probably one of the few guys in Pro Wrestling to be billed at his legit or near his legit height, rather than adding 2" on top of it. Then again he was called 6'7" and 6'8" a lot in the 90's.
I'd say peak he was 6'6". Today he still has a great posture and towers over most people. 6'5.5" I would say today, but not 6'5" flat.

At he’s peak he was never under 196 cm he has always looked very tall, very similar height to late wrestler Test, anyway today he seems 193 - 194 cm

JBL was a 6'5 guy who in cowboy boots could look a 6'6 guy, he could certainly push Undertaker close in them, outside of the big footwear Taker had a solid 2' on him (prime).
Today he could be 6'4.5, but he's still a very big guy.

I think the Rock was around 6'2.75-6'3 range, so that would put Farooq at 6'0.5-6'0.75 range. I think he was billed at 6'2 by the WWE. I can buy a 10 cm difference though between Bradshaw and Farooq.
On a side note. In retrospect, Farooq's Nation of Domination gimmick was an absolute masterclass. Fit him to a tee.

In my opinion, Faarooq looked 1,86-87cm to me, while my guess for Bradshaw is around the 1,96-97cm mark. Anyway, as time goes by they both look shorter nowadays. JBL looks around 1,94-95 now, and Simmons around 1,84 or so. That's my guess.

Christian, he walked right past me on the way to the ring, the ground was definitely even. This was in 2007 so possibly by now he has lost a fraction. With wrestling shows I've tried as subtly as possible to size the wrestlers up so I took note of the ground level. I mentioned that I saw Test on a separate occasion (about a year later at a TNA event). This was before the show (we got backstage passes) and he gave a similar impression. Both were just a little bit taller than me...I might just give JBL the edge though. But I didn't at all feel intimidated by him physically...he wasn't in good....while Test showed clear signs that he wasn't long for this world as sad as it is to say...

"Shut Up Maggle Cole!" I love JBL as a commentator, but he was a great wrestler as well. One of the first truly great heels I remember watching, absolutely loved him as champion! He does look every bit a 6'5 guy (maybe more)... even without the cowboy hat! Nice guy in general, but truly could be an intimidating presence if he wanted. "Shut Up Maggle Cole!" I love JBL as a commentator, but he was a great wrestler as well. One of the first truly great heels I remember watching, absolutely loved him as champion! He does look every bit a 6'5 guy (maybe more)... even without the cowboy hat! Nice guy in general, but truly could be an intimidating presence if he wanted. As Blackjack Bradshaw he really can be seen as a 6'6, but since then JBL surely had lost some height. Not really as much as other competitors though.

You have to consider though, that Layfield used to be a bit over 6ft5 in his prime. But I agree, he's about 6ft4.5 now.

Rob, don't you think he slouches a lot? that may cost him some height, hope not though, despite age can be a height loss factor for everyone. JBL doesn't stand at full posture and I think it is because the majority of people he treat is shorter than him. He had a good posture as Bradshaw, but as JBL he started to take a bad posture.

Taker might have already lost a small fraction of height when he stood next to JBL in cowboy boots.
If you stood a 1992 undertake next to JBL in Cowboys there might have been a slightly bigger difference.
So taker was 6'7-6'7.5 range in the 90s and 6'7-6'7.25 by the early 2000s

Wow, JBL is really tall. I noticed when he does his entrance and starts dancing that he often wears boots (like cowboy boots) that make him look even taller. And back on the day, as a heel, the cowboy hat make him a bit taller too. However, he doesn't need to wear any of that to "obtain" more height because he is tall enough!

So I think Bradshaw was a weak 6'6" and the JBL gimmick looks like no more than 6'5" (and not really less than that either).

@Wrs567 1st photo, Not only the camera is way shorter than them but also JBL is behind Orton so that's why he looks shorter and also the 2nd photo, JBL is slouching his neck to get to Randy's eyelevel. which you can see very clearly Randy's neck is standing straight while JBL's is more bended. So Randy is definitely not as tall as JBL there.
