US Actor. In the 1998 book, Living Dangerously he is described as 6ft 5. Actually, there's some interesting stuff about Mel Gibson in that book:

"In publicity hand outs [for Attack Force Z] Mel is said to be somewhere between 5ft 9 and 10...Law thinks he's 5ft 6, but it would probably be more realistic to estimate 5ft 8", He mentions how he would regularly kneel down whilst Mel was standing, duck down etc and says a lot of effort was made to de-emphasise height diffence, with Law doing close ups with his legs spread apart. Also, it makes reference to Mel's 'secret' elevator shoes for Year of Living Dangerously.

James,J.P Law was not in the Mechanic,you're probably refering to J.M Vincent who was about 5'8" a little taller than Bronson.J.P Law always looked 6'5" or more.He made a movie with C.Heston and looked 3" taller than Heston there.

In, The Mechanic 1972 Charles Bronson and John Philip Law look the same height
which of course they were not. Law was a good ten inches taller.

Yeah, Law is simply enormous. You can see him in italian movies like "Danger Diabolik" (1966, by Mario Bava) and "I 3 volti del terrore" (2005, by Sergio Stivaletti). In the second one other actors appear dwarfes close to him
