Jonathan Ross said he was 6'2 when abby clancey was on the show, He asked her height, She said 5'9 and talked about Crouch and she said Peter Crouch is 6'7, So Ross has said 6'2 also but mainly says 6'1 1/2, It may be Ross is more a solid 187 then to say 6'2 rather than 185-187, He may be more 186-188 range, When vince vaughn asked him how tall he was he said 6'1 1/2.

this guy needs a downgrade. im from germany but watch his show occasionally. hes no more than 185cm.i believe he says the truth and just gives his morning height or in shoes which is probably around 187-188cm. he looked barely taller than 183cm hanks and smaller with others like will smith, hugh jackman or russell brand. its obvious hes not that tall in the afternoon or evening. hey every one haven't been on here in a while but did anyone see Ross with clarkson I'm pretty sure he is a lift wearer now I'd say he's around 183-184cm without shoes but I'm actualy about 99%. Scott make sure you ask Jonathan to stand up straight if you get a photo with him, as he slouches as most tall guys. Better still get some one 6ft 1 to have a photo with him so he wont slouch. If you look back their is a photo with guy who is just under 5'11. Ross if you take into account the angle is inch and half taller, but he is slouching. A guy still comfortably over 6ft slouching, is usually a solid 6ft 1 at least. Shaun says on 17/Nov/09
I disagree. David Haye looks very similar in height to Rio Ferdinand. He reminds me of him when he also had the cornrows they look very similar in build anyway. Rio Ferdinand is a solid 190cm. Haye looks in the 189-190 range even without big trainers. Anonymous says on 16/Nov/09

Haye's posture is quite poor ... you could see at various points when he straightened up that he was at least 2 inches taller than Ross.
I stand by my estimation J-Ro is just under 6'1 [185.5?] and rounds up.
Friends of mine have worked with him and believe him to be just over 6'0. I agree with this.
In fact I would lay money on this.

Again, against David Haye - the boxer - who is apparently about 6'3 he really didn't look much shorter. Haye was wearing Air Force Ones too, so if anything had the footwear advantage.

I agree with Anonymous it was quite shocking and very predictable Jonathan Ross brining up the subject of height yet again on his show and actually standing back to back with him. I think the nation probably has some idea that jonathan ross has got a height complex judging by the audiences reaction. Jonathan ross had hair advantage over Vince I thought as well. But still 187cm for Ross. I thought that Vince Vaughn looked a more genuine 6'5er than Jeremy Clarkson next to Ross as well.

I think he's self conscious about his height cos I saw him at screening of they think its all over a few years ago and he had massive platform shoes on which were harder to see when it went to television. My dad was 6' even (a little shorter now) and has a picture standing next to jonathan ross, both in suits and dress shoes, from the late 90s. They are literally the same height. Bang on. Jonathan Ross can't be more than 6'05. 6'1 is a joke.

Before his chicken neck e.g. past ten years, he looked if anything taller than 6ft 1 1/2 inches. Yes Doug is right he looks about 6ft and 1/2 inch. He has the strange ability suddenly to straighten up and be 6ft 1 1/2 inches again. With Ross it is all in the neck so we can rule out lifts. Copy Ross posture, lean forward and down with your head, check your height then stand up straight you loose an inch. Another ten years he will be permamently stooped. 95% of the time he is now 6ft, but he is in reality still 6ft 1 1/2 inches. that video, at about 0:40, you can see Eric Cantona (Billed as 6ft2 in his playing career, so he's definitely no taller) making Ross look like someone in the 182-15cm range, but certainly not 187cm.

He's not 187 (without shoes) though in a million years. IMHO 185 is his maximum and I believe 184 barefoot. Trevor Eve is 5ft 11 according to this site and was about the same height. I think Eve needs an upgrade to 6ft though Lenad says on 5/May/09

davidjamsen he is not standing straight next you and the photo favours you, so slouching he still looks at least an inch and 1/2 taller than you. Still rules out anything below a strong six though. I think if I met him I would probable agree with you. Its just sometimes when he stands up straight he suddenly goes from being a two/three inches taller than sly to being at least four.
