one of the top 5 most legit 6´1 guys on the site that is listed at 6´1 flat. This guy and bill murray is the two that i expect be closer to 186 than 185. Well bill murray probably even fraction over 186.

I've been looking at more pics of him with matthew fox and He usually looks slightly shorter than fox, at times holloway can look a bit taller but if you look at the shoulders you can see fox is a bit taller. Like 0.75 to 1 inch taller. Even if fox is only a weak 6'2 ( I don't think he is but) holloway can't be under the 6'1 mark and probably is a proper 186cm guy

Well he did claim 6'2 Click Here , so I would doubt 6'3, though I agree that he can often look taller with other people, so 6'2.5 may well be closer than just 6'2 flat, and he was just being modest with it.

I can see 6'1" for Josh Holloway. He looked about one inch taller than Kevin Kostner who is probably 6'0" to 6.05" today (most likely 6'1" peak).

Josh gives the impression of 6'0" due to his long torso, long neck, but short legs for his height.

The dude that plays Hurley doesn't quite look 6ft, we both agree on 6ft2 for Matthew, Holloway I can definitely see 6ft1½ as arguable the more I look (at least 186cm), O'Quinn I would at least give 6ft1 peak and could look over it...Naveen Andrews who plays Sayid, 5ft7 range as listed here...Adewale looks a solid 6ft1 guy as well, 186cm is a possibility, similar to Josh...Ethan is played by William Mapother who Rob has met (Tom Cruise's cousin), weak 6ft1 by Rob's estimation....oddly looked similar to Matthew on Lost

I think your pretty spot on Rob, when you have photos like this, you can see that Matthew is taller by between 1.5-2cm I think 185.5-186 on the dot, barefoot is a safe bet.

Rob, people generally say baggy clothes make you look shorter. But while Josh was on LOST, his character's attire (extremely baggy pants and loose longsleeve shirts) only made him appear taller IMO... When I was younger and watching the show, he could look as big as 6'3" to me. I suppose I ask, do guys over 6 feet really have to worry about those kind of illusions (loose vs fit/tight)? to be honest when i first saw lost before i saw the listings on celebheights me and my brother was talking and guessing heights on the cast members in first season. and we thougt matthew fox was 188 with a chanse of little over and first we actually thought terry was about the same in the strong 188 range and we guessed josh at 187 and then hurley looked pretty tall like 184. but as the time went by in later seasons it looked more like. matthew 187-188, josh 186 ore sliglt over and terry 186-7. matthew and josh was about right but on terry we were way of i guess. i still think when he was young that he looked always taller than 6 foot 1. Its very strange.

Fox's height? The listing he has here which I agree with. I stand by that anything up to a half inch can be easily made invisible through superior posture and/or big footwear.

I thought that O'Quinn was 184 cm max. He was slightly shorter as in many scenes he was raising his eyelevel a bit when talking to Fox.

Josh had better posture than Fox which is why I thought they were actually the same height in the start.

I just stood next to him at San francisco airport. I'm 5'11.5". We were wearing similar doled shoes. He seemed maybe a half inch taller. I was expecting taller since he looks very tall in Lost. He's very thin and has a small head, which from far away gave the illusion of height. Being up close he was definitely in the 6' range, not 6'1 or higher. When I saw him again in the boarding line, many guys towered over him. Though it could have been a no representative sample, I'd expect him to be among the taller group if he was 6'1.

He wasn't much smaller than solid 6'3 range Liam Hemsworth in Paranoia! I thought there were like 1.5 inches between them but Liam was wearing thinner shoes, so around 2 inches difference is right! 6'1-6'1.25 for Josh and 6'3-6'3.25 is right! One of the few honest guys out there!

I used to watch lost when i was young when it came out in 2004. As a kid I always thought he was tall. Being 187cm i dont know why but I can imagine him being taller than me. Maybe because he has a slim physique it makes him appear taller. But he does look like a strong 6'1. I think he may be 187cm like he's listed on other sites

Thought Josh was exactly my height.
Everyone thinks I'm over 6'2" because they lie about their height.
Terry O was about a inch shorter than me.

I remember a scene in CSILV first season, where a severely slouching Josh Holloway was at least 2 inches taller than Nick Stokes in boots (since CSI are always in boots). Also I have seen the entie lost series, and I thought Sawyer (James) was 6'2''-6'3'' range. He is no shorter than Jack Shepherd or John locke if not taller. I guess the reason is you could not care less about your height when you are in a good mood and extremely confident.

Andreaitta- yes I remember that scene. Matthew Fox was in work boots. They were both in a flat house so no jungle variables and yet looked the same height. And yet when Josh bids farewell to Fox on the porch you can see that he is barefeet.

However if you check some of the pics below I believe they are both exactly the same height. Certainly Josh Holloway is not 6'1 that's for sure.

Rob doesn't appear to agree with the consensus here for some reason however and ultimately he lists the heights. Bit bizarre when the consensus is a celebrity is TALLER than listed.

Ok! I just finished watching all Lost and I gotta say that josh is a guy who could easily be a legit 6'1.5! He always looks tall, he looks taller than Matthew Fox and Terry O'Quinn in 95% of the scenes, i remember a scene where he was with Matthew Fox (in a house, so same level) and i thought: here Fox looks all his 6'2 claim (the only time i thought that), then they showed the feet and Josh was barefeet and Matthew had at least 1.3 inches shoes! Rob, I think you're being thrown off by the rare hollywood celebrity who doesnt know or care too much about his exact height and his quote of 6'1. These aren't handpicked, you'd be hard pressed to find any pictures where Holloway is not looking the same height as Matthew Fox and Terry O'Quinn.

They're all hovering around the 6'2 mark or fractionally below. At no point in Lost does Holloway look any where near an inch shorter than the other 6'2ers.

I think we have a Gary 'overhonest' Lineker case here with his quote. This guy is clearly closer to 6'2 than 6'1. 6'1.75 would be my best guess, maybe even 6'2 morning height.

He's always shorter than Matthew Fox. If there were only a half inch between them occasionally Holloway would look taller, especially on a beach with uneven ground. In contrast, O'Quinn often looks the same height as Fox, and often a little shorter. 6'1 is exactly right for Holloway, maybe a smidgen over, say a quarter inch.
