I only "downgrade" celeb based on what's evident (after all you are noticing where you are, don't you?). If Nicole Kidman is 5'10" than you can clearly see him, with regular shoes, fairly shorter than her. And of course he's a country musician so it gives him the right to wear cowboy boots which add about two inches of height. So that's why he was slightly taller. So is this wrong reasoning? Don't think so.

Wow Kirk, you are truly downgrading every celebs' heights on this site. Keith Urban is not 5'6, he was slightly taller than (5'6.5 - 5'7) Ellen Degeneres on the Ellen show a couple of weeks ago. But Ellen had some thick soled caramel coloured shoes. So from what i saw, Keith is 5'7.75 - 5.8. Not 5'6. Kirk, stop trying to downgrade celebs' heights. Kirk says on 11/Mar/10

I did look at their legs. It's very obvious NK is in front of KU. Her right arm is even covering part of his left side in that picture. I just checked my M&G picture again. He is a good 2 1/2 to 3 inches taller than me and we have on about the same height heel. My doc says I'm 5'6". Kirk says on 9/Mar/10

I've stood beside Keith at a M&G before. I'm 5'6". I had to look up to him when I was talking to him so I would say 5'8 1/2" to 5'9" is about right. In that picture that Kirk posted, Keith is several feet behind Nicole so of course he looks a lot shorter. When they are side by side, both with tennis shoes on, she is barely taller than him. First of all Hugh, Keith Urban was born in Whangarei, New Zealand and raised in Australia. Anyways... I was watching Ellen today, and they looked almost identical in height, so I'm just reiterating what I said in Sept that Keith is a bit shy of 5'7 Hugh says on 8/Jan/10

This article states that keith claimed 5 feet 8 as his height. It also says dustin hoffman is 5 feet 6 which eh could have been when he was young. I agree with Emma: barefoot, Urban is at most an inch shorter than Kidman. He appears more than an inch shorter than she in some candid pics, such as the one "crusfan" posted, where she is in boots and he's in flat shoes, and of course the difference increases when she is in heels. Rob, where and when did he claim 5 feet 9? i mean do you have any link to that page? Just curious, no offence intended.I just read an article.....its something called men of nicole's heart where they compare keith and tom for nicole and it says something like the extra 3 inches keith has over tom will make sure that nicole doesnt have to look down on her man now and it states that tom is 5 feet 7 and keith is 5 feet 10.

That's a walking picture. I realized some people appear much taller because of the way they walk. I'm exactly 5'8" but i was walking next to a 5'10" guy, and he asked me if I had grown; this impression lasted till I stood still. =p

He looks to be around 4 cms at most shorter than her in that pic, maybe 3 and i believe nicole is around 180 for sure that will make him 176 and i think when he said 5 feet 9, he wasnt actually lying coz look nicole can be 179 which is what she is listed here and then that will make keith 175. He is for sure 5 feet 9 atleast and claims of him being less than 5 feet 8 are absurd, he will look like a midget if he was like 5 feet 6 or whatever people are saying here and he certainly looks normal although ya he does wear dodgy footwear sometimes but that pic is as clear as it can get. I mean she is bent and they have same footwear and i will say there is a lil slope advantage for keith too maybe 2 cms at most but i think 1 cm is fair enough but he looks taller than her in that pic with all this so in my fair guess he is atleast 5 feet 9, no doubt about that.
