My guess is based on his width, which make 174 cms correct. Besides him looking close to Glenn's height his cheekbones and shoulders are as wide as Glenn's. One last thing is that as sven pointed out is shoulder's are a bit lower but his head height makes up for it. I agree with glenn, I think he was a flat 5'9"er in his youth.

Interesting, the same or at least a tad shorter eyelevel than glenn, but slightly taller on the head.
