5'10" or so. Possibly 5'11" but definately in that ballpark. A solid build always makes guys seem shorter in person but huge on camera.

As I said on Adrianne Curry's page, I was watching this weird VH1 show about celebrity attributes. He was commenting, and referred to himself as kinda short, or on the short size (something like that). I think more like 5'9."

I agree with Jay. He is 5'9" tops. He probably wears custom lifts in movies like many actors do.

I met him in NYC..times square with pretty latina looking woman. He allowed me to take pics with him...even told my friend who took the pic that her finger was covering the pic..(sabotaging my pic)Anyway...he is about 5'9 Perfect...gentleman

okay MD, thanks, I was just giving my opinion, Mario may be 5'10". I just think it is interesting that an actor may look a certain height in a tv show or movie but some say the actor is like anywhere from 3 to 5 inches shorter.

Muta, it has already been made a point that movies are the worst place to try and guesstimates someones height as it is routine to use tricky camrea angles to make people look taller (and sometimes shorter), than they really are.

In New Jack City he stood eye to eye with Russell Wong who is 6'0", maybe a little over 6'0" and Mario may have been a bit shorter. I would say it is fair to say he is 5'11" or maybe 6'0"

I think Mr. R has a point there. I don't really understand why the actors add 2 or 3 inches to their heights if they are less than 6'0''tall. Mario really doesn't look 179 cm to me. I think that only his large frame (does Henry Rollins ring a bell) and nice designer boots make him look taller. He does look a lot shorter in premiere pics than in the movies that he is in.

I saw Mario at the premiere of the movie Panther several years ago in Oakland. As usual, there was quite a buzz in the audience as we realized that both Mario and his father Melvin were "vertically challenged." Both Mario and his dad walked past me. My eyewitness account: Melvin is 5'5" and Mario is 5'9". He is definitely shorter than 5'10". Check those pictures again editor.

I have always thought he's 6'0"-6'1".
But in a real life he seems to be about 5'10"-5'11".
