I saw Marlo shopping at Marshall Fields at a mall in Chicagoland area back in the mid-late 70's and she was taller than I'd have expected. Very thin,and just across the isle in same department as I. I'm just under 5'4 and she looked at least 2-3" taller. I was surprised,given how tiny she appeared on TV. She may be 5'4 now but I gave her 5'6-5'7 then. She was thumbing thru a rack and I said hello. She was curt and her voice was not as charming in person.
Another celeb whose height gets underrated is Pam Anderson.
The nicest celeb I have met,again,in Chicago and in the 70's,was Barbara Eden. I waited on her at a tennis shop. Put her at 5'4 at the time. We even had coffee at my break. Very sweet

She's 5'3." While not too much a regular "That Girl" watcher,I do have favorite episode,"Hearing Today,Gone Tommorrow." In it,just when Marlo's Ann Marie character was going to do an antifreeze commercial,she caught a coughing chest/head cold. Then,when she started coughing in one scene,she thought she was going deaf.But the doctor (Wally Bruner up) told Ann Marie (Thomas up) she had an ear infection and her hacking chest cough made her ears pop. But just before "that girl" started,in 1964,around Christmastime,she appeared as a "what's My Line?" panelist and 5'3", slacks wearing Thomas,the "baby",at 24,of the panel (Bennett Cerf,Arlene Francis,and Tony Randall) guessed "mystery guest" George Jessel. (She gave it away by asking if he was a famous "toastmaster general," which he was.)

i saw the movie 'Deceit' yesterday..she looked very short compared to other stars. Usually my estimate is never wrong..but she never looked 5-4 in that movie..but the pic above with Gleen proves me wrong..

Of course Frank2. The Glenn photo with her is a stone farce. Correct on "terror". That doo took 4-ever and it had to shine correctly with the lighting due to her hair color. Glenn probably was in his 2.5" Portman boots. Adds correctly: 5' 6" or 5' 6.5" tops with Marlo in the 1/2" heel add.

Well, now I know Glenn was lying about his height. I worked with Marlo for six months on a dreadful TV movie she co-produced and starred in. She's a tiny woman and a terror. Probably no more than 5'3". Even in heels she was about six inches shorter than me and I'm 5'11". Glenn is definitely no more than 5'6". Now, if in that photo Marlo is wearing flats......well, you figure it out.

Nobody had a better TV doo than Marlo, maybe Farrah. She looks awesome for her age. I think she regrets not putting "Marlo Thomas Productions" on her "That Girl" series....she did everything on that thing, and even make the coffee in the casting sessions. Her father was one of the nicest people I've ever met.
