Wow awesome there are Iced Earth fans on here...
I was watching some of my Iced Earth bootlegs and Shaffer and Barlow always appear to be the same height when they are on stage (when they are about 5-10 feet away from each other), but when they get closer to each other Matt seems about an inch taller. Matt does appear to be about 6' 1" in this picture, but he has a slight hunch here...he may be a full 6' 2" if he was standing straight. I think Shaffer is around 6' 1", I've met him. I heard a lot of stories about him being a dick, but he was a super nice guy that night. Dave says on 17/Aug/07
matt barlow is about 6'2-6'3 actually,.. i have met him on a few occaisions, and i am 6'1 in shoes, the man had over an inch on me.

I think matt is about 6'2 actually, certainly more than 6'1.... when i met him he was a pretty tall guy indeed. And in that pic he certainly looks 6'2, you are standing very straight, and his posture is bad. if he stood straight (like he had to to look up to me, lol) hed be an easy 6'2. One of the few here who needs to be upgraded.
Besides that i think hes one of the best (if not THE best) metal vocalist of all time.... i miss matt, at least he has another band now. bb says on 29/Apr/07
