I'd say he was taller than 6 ft. 2, by an inch or so. His wife, Keeley Hawes, is 5'8/9 ish and she's at least a head and a bit shorter than him and I wouldn't say she was short.

official bio says he's 6' 3" , and I believe he's that or more after watching "The Way We Live Now" (and if you've seen his DVD extra for "In My Father's Den" you know he's quite uncomfortable talking about himself for the camera.)

i loved this movie...they actually did a good job keeping his height fairly normal-looking, and i really wish they did more dvd interviews with him!
