Stood about 10 feet from Meat in Belleville at Rockfest... he is very hunched over now but still had the presence of being a solid 5-11 give or take. So id say this is bang on! If he stands straight he is probably 5-10 1/2 or better. 5\'8.56784 says on 26/Jul/11
My dad has lost 1" and he's not even 60 yet, I think considering Meat Loaf's weight and age, he might be 5'10 and he was 6' with the potential to be peak 6'1, had he not been fat since so young. Rob has this spot on. T.J. says on 11/Jun/11
Lorne, he actually wore lifts for Fight Club.
They did a back to back, with Meat being about an inch shorter than him.
5'11" for that point in time sounds about right. He was probabally the peak height (6') in his younger days (1960's/1970's)...but is most likely under now. He still claims 6' though..so probabally not to far off from that mark. Can look it at times. T.J. says on 1/Jun/11
Larc 6 ft 1.75 in: He wore lifts for the most part. Though there are scenes he isn't wearing them where he looks around the same height and Pitt and Norton (5'11"/6' range)

really? i think i know what I'm talking about. He looked as tall as Gary Busey at some points and pretty close to Mark MaGrath's height..he's taller than John Rich who is 5'10" and he's about 4-5 inches taller than Lil Jon who is 5'6"/5'7"..I study all things Meat Loaf more than any person should..trust me..I know what I'm talking about lol...Meat Loaf is between 5'10" and 6'...not saying he's any shorter or any taller, but if you TRULY watch him, his posture is the reason he looks so short!..look at how he stands and walks..when he straightens up (which is hardly ever) he gains a noticable amount of height.. He has admitted himself that he leans and slouches as a person, which is a contributer to his 5'10" look..but standing perfectly straight I believe he could still be close to 6'...I think he's 5'11" personally, but believe me, there are times where I thought he's looked as short as 5'9" T.J. says on 9/May/11

Well that makes sence now because Mark McGrath (Sugar Ray) is about 6'1" and I have no idea how tall Richard Hatch is, but I've heard he's in the 6'4"/6'5" range.
Meat Loaf's height is like impossible to tell...I just got settled on the idea that he's 5'10" and now he looks taller! I will just have to say, he's nothing taller than 6' and nothing shorter than 5'10"...we'll leave it at that I guess haha Don says on 9/Mar/11

But in the video I saw of Meat and Gary, Meat was barefoot and Gary was not..but still, we'll have to see..On the Red Carpet, Adam Lambert gave his height as 6'1" (6'2" in his boots) and I found this video of him and Meat. If the height Adam claims is true, this puts Meat in the 5'11.5"/6' range

I will say that Meat Loaf can look very short. He didn't look tall at all in the Rocky Horror Picture Show, except for the mugshot that put him at 6'1". He has looked really tall in some movies and shows. Meat most recently claims 6'. I believe with all his health problems, he's visited the doctor enough to know his height. He may not look it because of his bad posture? Idk. The shortest I can see Meat Loaf at is 5'10". But he looks many different sizes depending on who he's with. But he is definatly somewhere between 5'10" and 6'0". T.J. says on 21/Dec/10
