Great photo cdcd, it's weird seeing Arnold as the shorter one. I honestly think he was over 6'1'' in his prime, close to 6'2''. Not many seem to believe it now, for some reason.

Editor RobIn an ideal world you shouldn't need too change listings, over the years you might see more media/footage of somebody or encounter them and think an adjustment to a listing could be closer to the truth.
Ultimately it is still an estimate though. Biehn was close to 6ft peak I believe though may have lost a 1/4 inch now.

Wouldn't he have a 5'7.25 eye level if he's a weak 6ft? His eye level looks to be above 5'6, but probably not 5'6.5 range, but more 5'6.25, so he's gotta have a low eye level, right?

I just met him at a Comic Con the last weekend in March. I was surprised when he came out, as he appeared to be about 6'1.5. Much taller than I thought. However he did appear to be wearing a hiking boot. Based upon this, I could totally buy right around the 6ft mark. Perhaps 6 ft .25 or 6 0.5 in his prime?

He could be as low as 5'11 1/4 , 5'11 1/2 now but no less.

I know that day I was in Merrell's, which were in 0.7 inch, I had forgot exactly what he had, but looked and found This, so a bit more.

All I saw from my eye sight and standing next to him alone was a " Tall Lean Guy " owning me in height as I felt like a kid. So much that he wasn't close to the 5'10 ers nor just slightly taller. Easily a good bit taller than them.
So standing there next to him and ignoring footwear I thought 5'11.75 is taller than I thought , I easily would have bought 6'0 and even after looking at footwear I thought under 5'11.75 was impossible , unless his shoes were at least 1.5 or more.

Well here I am with to him. I'm in 3/4 inch footwear , he was in similmar shoes he had on with Rob , which IMO are at least an inch or more and he was slouching next to Me and leaning in. I wouldn't be shocked if he dropped 1.5 to 2 inches

Well here I am with to him. I'm in 3/4 inch footwear , he was in similmar shoes he had on with Rob , which IMO are at least an inch or more and he was slouching next to Me and leaning in. I wouldn't be shocked if he dropped 1.5 to 2 inches

Last time I seen D'Lo brown standing about I thought the guy was no more than 6ft and barely taller than say Michael...but D'Lo can stretch up to at least 6ft 1 range...but you wouldn't think it based on his frame and how he stands around on his own.

I know in Terminator 1984, on the police Radio ( Once Reese and Sarah Escaped the Police Station) he was described at 6'0 175. In reality judging by the pic his head is actually more 5'10.25" which is weird he always gave me a taller impression, especially in aliens he was taller than Bill Paxton who was at least 5'10.5.

In terms of physique of course Arnold was much heavier but Biehn was very fit and didn't have Arnold's bad heart. In some kind of decathlon Biehn might win.

list what normal person goes around saying they are 5'11.75 anyone in the normal world outside of this site who is 1m82 says they are 6 ft. even if you go to the doctors and they measure you at 182. they call it 6 foot. no one goes around say "oh I'm 5'11.75" thats weird. reading through some of the posts is a little infuriating. Im 1m 85 which i guess is just under 6'1 but I still say I'm 6'1 not 6.075. that would be weird and a little bit crazy

Editor Rob there is some variation in armspans or reach at the same height. You could have one person with height:armspan ratio of 1:0.98 and another with 1:1.06, so they'd have a bigger reach.

Come with me if you want to live! He looks surprisingly tall next to a 5'8 guy but I guess that's what a 6 ft guy look like. The more I have been on this site and the more I have measured people, the more a realize that 6ft actually is kinda tallish looking.
