At 95 pounds, I would literally look at myself in the mirror and I was like, 'Oh my God!' I had no shape, no boobs, no a$$ .. All you saw was bone. I was like, 'This looks gross'. But in photographs and on film, it looked amazing...It took me five months to lose 20 pounds, but it took me just five days - days! - to gain it all back.

She pulls off looking 5'4 I'd say. Some people do think that she's short, but she's not. Well, she's short by male height standards I suppose. Her claim of 5'4 on a good day is interesting so maybe slightly under 5'4 is a possibility. Or it might just be a wonky measurement. I'll stick with the full 5'4 for now.

I can see her being 5ft4 because her head is very big compared to the rest of her body so she looks even shorter (especially in pictures). For example monica belluci looks so much taller than she really is because of her very small head. I think mila is around 5ft4. Rob you did a great job.

This girl is about as open and honest as any actor or actress can be, having seen her interviewed and read about her, so I can't see that she'd never willingly fiddle her height. I was bowled over by her performance in 'Black Swan', and have gone on to buy anything that she stars in.

Yes, describing ballet as a beautiful art is very apt! Deciding whether to become a ballet represents a major life time decision for someone, anyone faced with this decision will have to live with whatever they decide to do from then on and because of what is at stake this is not easy, whether they go down this route or not. Then if someone becomes a ballet dancer they are faced with a lot of hardship and this hardship can continue once they have finished their career.
That is a great point, the makers of the "Barbie" dolls deserve applauding because introducing dolls of differing heights and weights will teach people from a young age that no level of height or weight is abnormal and that everyone should accept themselves and those around them for how they are! This shows that people are diverse and that no height or weight level is better than any other. It's also good to see the producers of our soap operas doing a similar thing and everyone, whether it be doll makers, television companies, or anyone for that matter, should take on the responsibility of representing the human race in as diverse a way as possible. However the right education and encouragement should be given to people who are of an unhealthy weight for their height and people in this situation should be supported fully, an increased acceptance from wider society will come from seeing people of all heights and weights being represented better in society and as a result people would only consider someone to be of "unhealthy" weights, but they will be fully supportive and non judgmental of someone in this situation.

Not only that but the risk of a terrible disease like osteoparosis coupled with having sore feet and being hungry a lot in this career mean it is a very big decision in the life of a young boy or girl who is deciding whether to go down this route in life, this must be one of the hardest decisions that anyone could have to make but it is a beautiful thing to do and must bring some health benefits in its own right. However you must be really dedicated to becoming a ballet dancer if you are going to make it and it must be a major life time goal if you want to become one and be happy that you have made the right decision, it is something one has to be really passionate about because the potential costs of ballet dancing are so huge.
I didn't know that the word "diet" is derived from the Latin for "way of life"! Therefore this makes sense, like you said, because what we eat sure does represent a way of life for us! Thanks for telling me this!

They both had to lose about 20lbs for the film and train like maniacs! You will see how real ballet dancers have to turn a blind eye to their painful, bleeding feet and starve themselves, yet still find the energy for their art!

It's unbelievable that you guys are saying short people are more attractive and tall women are "freakish". Height is like the one thing (aside from race) that you can't control. I'm a 5'6 14 year old girl, which is like average in the real world, but freakishly tall compared to my friends and boys in my class. Believe me, I would do anything to be 5'2. I'm on a long road (very long!) to believing I'm beautiful, and you guys really aren't helping me. In fact, you're discouraging me. So I hope you feel good knowing that you're discouraging a 14 year old girl from feeling pretty, which is all she really wants right now.
It's unbelievable that you guys are saying short people are more attractive and tall women are "freakish". Height is like the one thing (aside from race) that you can't control. I'm a 5'6 14 year old girl, which is like average in the real world, but freakishly tall compared to my friends and boys in my class. Believe me, I would do anything to be 5'2. But where do average women fit into this. Yes, tons of tall women are beautiful, yes tons of short women are beautiful but what about average women? IMO, everyone deserves to think they're beautiful. I just saw Black Swan and Mila is clearly taller than Natalie through out the whole movie. I was doing the u-turn on to the 101 North, off of Franklin Avenue the other day when I saw Mila standing on the corner -- she was right there. It was very surreal to see her in real life. Anyway, I was particularly stunned because Mila was at least six feet tall, maybe 5' 10''. Her height was unbelievable. I was doing the u-turn on to the 101 North, off of Franklin Avenue the other day when I saw Mila standing on the corner -- she was right there. It was very surreal to see her in real life. Anyway, I was particularly stunned because Mila was at least six feet tall, maybe 5' 10''. Her height was unbelievable. Mila was wearing jeans, flip-flops, and a torn, faded pink shirt that said, 'bun-in the oven', with an arrow pointing towards her crotch; she had a bag of oranges. And smoking a cigarette.

I am 5 9 and 3/4 to be exact. When at a party i was next to Mila and Laura Prepon"Donna" Laura is shorter than me by about 1 inch and Mila is about 5'3, what she says. Definately not taller than that. My best friend who is 5'5 was a bit taller than her

I was shopping in L.A this past weekend when I saw Ms. Kunis. I stood right next to Mila and she definitely is taller than 5'3. I was suprised cus I always thought she was around my height. I am 5'1 and she was way taller than I am. Atleast 4-5 inches taller and, she was wearing flats. I would say she is most likely around 5'6.

It's strange, except for Laura Prepon, Mila never really looks tiny compared to most other actors and actresses, unlike other short actresses like Elisha Cuthbert or Rachel Bilson.

5'3" sounds about right. I wouldn't give more than 5'4" to her, judging by her hills that she wear almost all the time. When a girl is about 5"6 or more, its pretty recognizable that she's tall, even on tv or in a pic, however Mila seems constantly short(not to mention comparing to other casts) on that 70's show. She's absolutely cute tho

Mila is well known for wearing huge heels on That 70s Show so she doesn't look so short next to Laura Prepon or Ashton Kutcher. I'd say 5'3" is right, and she wears large heels in all the pictures where she looks tall.
