Ive half Serbian and have been there many times, and I know for a fact that our averages are about the same as US, UK and Aus ones. In the scene, she's having him try on special insoles so there may actually be extra insoles in his shoes. DeNiro is at least 5'8" so Milla really does look at least 5'8.5" possibly 5'9".
