Agreed. I once went on a tour of the Sarah Winchester House in San Jose, CA a few years back. She was the wife of the maker of the Winchester Rifle fortune, and was haunted by the ghosts of the native Americans killed by the rifle, the story goes, that she was told by psychics that if she kept building onto her house, she would not die. Physically, she herself was a short woman, standing no more than 4'10", and some of the construction was adapted to her. For instance, in the main hallway of the first floor, there is a door that's about 5' tall, big enough for her and only her to get into. If you want more info, visit the Winchester Mystery house, but don't go out of your way if you don't live in the Bay Area. It was designated as Historical Monument No. 969 in the California Historical Registry. As for Nell Carter, I always thought she was no more than 5' tall, and was always liked her, but she's gone now, a victim of Diabetes.

If you ask me, I think sub-5 footer women aren't actually that uncommon. So being I don't there is anything wrong with being under 5 feet imo. |
