Just seen him in an episode of Extras and he looked an inch or so shorter than 5ft 7.5 Ricky Gervais.

I remember laughing like a nincompoop watching 'Hale and Pace' in the '90s! I don't know whether I'd find it quite as funny today as our sense of humour changes as we mature. I'm thinking back now at how disgusted I found their game batting toads or frogs around in a game of cricket, but now I am actually suppressing a bit of laughter that anyone could have even thought of turning it into a comedy sketch!
Both Hale and Pace were fairly little guys, though Hale was rather meatier! They were delightfully childish and if I saw that type of humour now, I might find it a bit too silly!
I wonder what they are up to now?

Did you watch Hale and Pace in the 90s Rob? Hilarious. Watching that show and discussing it in school got me on good terms with some real hard knocks!
[Editor Rob: can't remember half of the stuff I watched back then]
