Orlando Bloom's Height
5ft 10 ½ (179.1 cm)
English actor best known for his portrayal of Will Turner in the Pirates of the Caribbean series and Legolas in The Lord of the Rings/Hobbit Trilogies. In his early career, Orlando listed himself as being 6 feet in Casting Directories and in Now Magazine (2003) said "I knew I was too tall at nearly 6ft for a hobbit". However, in a clip in which Orland was getting data taken for a waxwork measurement, one of the voices in the clip calls out a measurement for Orlando, which is 179.5cm.

I’ve focused on lifting heavy to strengthen my skeletal structure. That kind of training has evolved into an interest in gaining muscle mass and putting on a little more size. I’m six feet [tall] and comfortably weighing around 175 pounds right now, but lately I’ve worked to put on a bit more for a few roles coming up.

IMO 179 cm barefoot is the perfect height. Upper average but not that noticeable in the public.

I was looking at Celebheights while we were driving on the motorway, so that I didn't catch sight of any dead animals who'd been knocked over, or I can't help but scream, and as it puts my boyfriend off his driving, he (understandably!) gets annoyed.

I was most upset to read that Orlando Bloom's dog, 'Mighty' has been pronounced dead after missing for seven days. Orlando conducted a search, including the help of two sniffer dogs, but his collar has been found. I haven't read the entire story yet.
He is having a tribute tattoo to remember the tanned coloured poodle. This, he said, should be the happiest time in his life, as he is expecting a baby with singer Katy Perry, but it has turned into a living nightmare. I so understand, having lost pets myself.

Johan, you cant post pictures of someone with a woman and make height guesses on that when we can't clearly see her shoes. Women routinely wear shoes that give them several inches of height with some of the bigger heels being quite ridiculous. Knightly is probably wearing heels in both those and is probably close to 5'11 in them.

Editor Rob it seems wax figures can have a pose measurement, so if the actor agreed to go along for the dimension measurements then if they were doing a slightly different pose that wasn't standing normally it might explain why some statues are shorter than expected.
Some celebrities will have nothing to do with it - the idea of a statue might not be something they like, so won't supply any information and it's left up to guessing dimensions!
But seeing from the video with that footballer the guy holding the tape measure up to get height, there's going to be some margins of error.

And even the actors for the hobbits were around 5'7ish and they are meant to be in 3 foot region. So his height was never a problem if they wanted to make him look hobbit-sized.

Editor Rob Bloom's 179.5cm measurement might be pretty reasonable to believe...I know at times the guy's posture is loose, I can believe he looks 5ft 9.5-10 range to some people though.
Here is an interesting comparison, Bloom has loose posture aswell: Click Here. I've measured her numerous times over the years, her low is 5ft 7 1/8th on stadiometer, the highest near 3/8ths, so a decent 5ft 7, half inch taller in person than '5ft 8 big G'.

Editor Rob we never saw an actual measurement, we hear the audio from a measurement, but he video doesn't match up - instead of seeing him being measured with a stadiomter, he is standing there and I am sure the person is doing a measurement of his head with some calipers, it's been a few years since I watched the clip though.
